Yesterday we stood in front of the hut, which was closed despite the sign saying "open". The homepage also said: open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It seems that it's not just the DB that has a reliability problem.

A very nice hike to the Darmstädter Hütte. The restaurant is under new management and is open from Wednesday to Sunday. It is self-service, the selection of food is 👌 🆗️. Can be highly recommended. You can take the chairlift down to the valley.

We were there on a Tuesday and Tuesday is a rest day, but we knew that. Nevertheless, I was very happy that there was a box of drinks there for self-service.
