Nice little campsite with friendly operators. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

Camping Lombardi is always our holiday destination, peace, beach and proximity to the city of Malcesine. The service from Bernado Lombardi and his daughters is incomparable to any other campsite.

Very friendly owner, we were able to stay there for 1 more night at the last minute. Everything in perfect order.

Very nice campsite with very few frills. Perfect for grounding yourself again. Toilets and showers are old, but very, very clean. Absolutely worth mentioning are: the hospitality of the Schultes family, the restaurant where an excellent menu is lovingly cooked every day and the great pool. What we don't want to miss is to praise the vanilla cream to the heavens. There is nothing better!!! Thank you for the nice days. We'll definitely come back.

While Martina was still doing the shopping for the day's food, I received a call from an unknown number. She had to be from the Allgäu. So maybe from the next campsite. I already suspected the worst. Mr. Sch. was on the other end of the line. He was the manager of the next CP and wanted to ask whether the reservation was still available and whether we also wanted to have dinner at his place. He told me in a friendly but firm tone that there was asparagus on the menu for dinner today. Before that there is a salad and something with strawberries for dessert. If you don't like that, there's spaghetti with tomato sauce. I immediately ordered the menu - without asking my wife! We asked ourselves the whole day whether that was right. Today we cycled past alpine lakes. Always comfortable up and down. On the left we saw the last high mountains with their snow-capped peaks. The smell of the freshly mown grass and the already dried hay accompanied us and stimulated our senses. Among other things, my pollen allergy. It took two breaks until I got my eyes and nose under control. From Oberstaufen we had a slight tailwind. We reached our base today around 5:30 p.m. We were warmly welcomed by our sister. The formalities were completed quickly. Now came the first surprise. The shower stamp was a 1.00 DM piece. I haven't held that in my hands for 22 years. Why should you replace the machines when they continue to work with this coin?the nurse said confidently. This system is incidentalIn operation for almost 30 years. So a modern innovation would certainly have been replaced a long time ago - something in these modern electronic systems always breaks beyond repair... said the friendly lady. She's right! Dinner was ordered for 7 p.m. This time the tent was on a grassy terrace and still had to be set up in the blazing sun. Right on a flat spot near the goats. They also had the bells on. The way to the sanitary building was not far and the restaurant was also within sight. Already in advance. We enjoyed not only the food, the drinks but also the loving guest and service-oriented nature of the host. An old school chef and host. We fully followed his recommendations and were not disappointed. (Just like we used to do when we were still active in the catering industry)! During the meal we enjoyed the view from the high terrace of the surrounding nature. We were able to watch the farmer bring in the bales of hay. The bales were picked up from the meadow with the tractor, one at the front and one at the back, and brought to the nearby farm. The transport was repeated 10 times. The slope was not suitable for using a trailer for transport. The sunset began and we enjoyed it with one spirit. We gave the selection to our host Jörg Schultes. We weren't disappointed in the final either. I won't go into detail about the menu. Every suburb can try this out for themselves and be pleasantly surprised. All I'm saying is: Solid craftsmanship meets fresh regional products and is presented by a masterful spirit. The price is unbeatable. The entertainment is priceless. Fancy a table reservation. The sanitary facilities were no longer the newest, but they were clean. The food should be pre-ordered. There are hedges and trees that provide shade. The two of us paid €27 for the space with a tent and bikes.

We were at this campsite on a short trip.Actually you would have to say that it's terrible...... but only so that you always get a place.🥰It is beautiful, wonderful, fantastic here 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍The operators are super super nice, friendly helpful and and and…The boss cooks himself, with mom, she is 91.It doesn't get any better.The place is hilly, cozy and simply fantastic.If you're looking for something chic, you've come to the wrong place; if you're looking for peace and comfort, you've come to the right place.We would have liked to stay much longer, but we will 100% come back.Greetings from the Black ForestBritta & Frank
