The hotel's quality-price-service ratio is really not good. Rooms with very dated decoration (the bathroom, help); amenities absent from a hotel that calls itself 4 stars (no kettles or coffee in the rooms!). Restaurant ok but nothing more, not to mention the approximate directions given to sit at the right table. Price of a bottle of water: 7 euros, flight. We were disappointed, I do not recommend.

Renovation backlog and poor kitchen - the former is being worked on and that would be forgiven if the food and the restaurant staff weren't so lousy.Almost all other employees were extremely friendly and helpful. But unfortunately that's not enough to enjoy your stay.

I was looking forward to 2 beautiful days and was bitterly disappointed. Apart from the spa (the massages were great and highly recommended!).It started with the arrival, I had booked the girls' break arrangement and an additional treatment.Unfortunately this was not recorded in the system.Of course it wasn't possible to book two more massages at short notice and the nice (she was really nice) lady at reception seemed more interested in who screwed up than in suggesting alternative solutions. There was no compensation of any kind (a bottle of champagne would be a start as an apology). This meant that check-in took an incredibly long time. Of course, the massage included in the package has the unfavorable date. There was a mini bar in the room, but it was neither connected nor filled. The booking also included a bottle of champagne, which I had to request. The rooms themselves are fine, but very dated. The ventilation in the bathroom urgently needs to be cleaned and you won't find a coffee machine, kettle or anything similar.About 20 minutes after check-in, a craftsman came and put the door handle back in the horizontal position, which for whatever reason was vertical.Dinner is subpar to say the least.Nicely presented, but basically no spices, the salad selection was manageable and overall we had more of a canteen-hospital feeling than we expected.Overall, it seemed like there were a lot of ready meals.Just a small note: all restaurants in the area have at least 4 stars on Google, the snack bar at the local swimming pool has 4.5.The restaurant at the Hotel Schliffkopf has 3.1 stars. Now to the sauna area:Very dark, there was no light on at all in the Finnish sauna. If someone had fallen unconscious there, no one would have seen or noticed. This is absolutely dangerous. An automatic infusion takes place every 20 minutes, unfortunately without any scent.Staff were not seen at all.The steam bath is covered in red algae and it has been at least 5 weeks since it was last properly cleaned. That's probably why I was alone in the sauna area the whole time. The swimming pool was completely fine, although the grease edges could be removed and the gutter also needs to be cleaned. For just under €400 for two nights in a 4* hotel, I expect more. The location is really nice, but the price-performance ratio is really not right at all.I will not book here again and can only advise against it.

Nice hotel, great wellness area (unfortunately without change of towels), nice bar with a very nice bartender and absolute peace outside...Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the service.

My friend and I were looking forward to a relaxing wellness vacation.Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't keep what it promises online. We particularly missed the warmth and personal touch. Everything seemed very bland and sterile, we didn't really feel welcome. Unfortunately, the wellness area only invites you to relax in the hotel pictures. The sauna area is painted very dark and is in urgent need of renovation. Unfortunately, you won't find any employees there. The room seemed cozy at first glance, the bathroom seemed to have been renovated not long ago. The biggest drawback of all, however, were the mattresses. Old, worn and absolutely worn out. We went home after two nights with quite a bit of back pain...We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, but the selection from the buffet was anything but 4*. The salad buffet in the evening consisted of 6 dressed salads (mostly convenience), 3 leaf salads and 2 dressings. Otherwise, the rest of the menu and the drink selection were fine. But you don’t expect “okay” in a 4* hotel. The staff in the mountain spa, at the bar and in the restaurant were very nice and responded to our wishes. We were able to park for free right in front of the house.Unfortunately for us the price-performance ratio in this hotel is absolutely not right. Let's see whether the grinding head can maintain this in the next DeHoGa classification.

2 days HB in October, attentive service, nice room with balcony, great view, rich breakfast buffet, salad buffet and 4 courses in the evening, house guests can use the warm lunch, salad buffet and cake free of charge. Swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool and saunas are all very pleasant. The hotel has its own spring...pure nature at 1025 m altitude in the nature reserve.

We were in the hotel for the first and definitely the last time. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Outdated spa with an overheated small relaxation area. Too few staff. Clean drinking cups were no longer available from early afternoon, fruit and hot water for tea were no longer refilled. Some employees in the restaurant were not at all attentive, for example simply walking past tables with stacked plates without clearing the table. You can tell that those employees are simply not good at providing the service. Salad buffet actually only consists of fatty salads, no fresh selection available. Breakfast buffet was no longer replenished after 10 a.m. Presentation of goods not appealing. We're definitely not coming back.

A hotel not really worthy of a superior 4 stars, certainly a very good breakfast, the customers are non-existent in the eyes of the staff really not smiling, no hello, the meals nothing more cold and bland dishes overpriced drinks..the spa area is rather nice, the room cleaning was done quickly, but the cleaning lady was the only one who greeted us, initially no question if our stay went well, not even a goodbye. Too bad a beautiful place..
