Dear Anja,dear Michael,We were able to spend 2 days in your beautiful Alpine lodge and can say in advance that it will certainly not be the last time we will be with you.For all other readers, here are a few of our impressions of the Alpine Lodge in Scheidegg.-Attention to detail and quality no matter where you look-That sums it up very well from our point of view. We were 100% convinced that renowned interior designers were certainly at work here when the Alpine Lodge was created in 2018.But Anja and Michael created the entire house with the impressions and experiences they gained from their travels. Every room, every room, every piece of furniture, every picture on the wall and every light switch flow into one another and create a wonderful house in which you can simply feel good.We also really appreciated that the Alpenlode only has a few rooms and can therefore be described as a real boutique hotel.In the evening, Marc and Fabian surprised us from the kitchen with excellent dishes, which were cooked and prepared to a very high level. During our stay we had around 15 different dishes, each one of which tasted delicious and was prepared with a lot of love. We will definitely take the cooking course offered at some point!We could go on writing here forever but unfortunately we've run out of space :-)We wish you continued success with your great concept and all holidaymakers a pleasant stay.Thank you for allowing us to be your guests.Best regardsLea & Fabian

This is a very special place to stay and I only wish we had booked for longer, 3 nights definitely wasn't enough. The owners have created an extremely stylish and welcoming place to stay. We had a fabulous room (No. 8) that was spacious and chic, with stunning views over the valley. The hotel has a restaurant and spa (for guests only) and we tried both. The restaurant, overseen by head chef, Mark, a fellow Brit, is superb - I wanted to lick the plate! And my Ayurvedic massage was sublime, I had to stop myself sleeping throught the whole thing, it was so relaxing. The location is spectacular with alpine walks from the doorstep and Bodensee lake not far away. The whole experience was sensational and I'd book again in a heartbeat.

The stay here cannot be compared to anything. It's not a hotel, but rather a visit to friends who pamper you. The entire house is individually furnished with great attention to detail. Thanks to Anja and Michael, who made this stay unforgettable.Breakfast was a delight and dinner was a blast. Cannot be described with words. Thanks to Mark, the chef, who conjures up food creations with a lot of love.It's nice that we can spend another day here.

We only spent two nights in the Alpine Lodge, but this short time was simply great. The breakfast in particular, accompanied by excellent coffee, ensured a perfect start to the day. The staff and the two owners were extremely attentive and warm, so we felt completely at home. Even spontaneous special requests were fulfilled with ease. Thank you for this unforgettable stay!

Everything is just right here. Rarely have we felt so comfortable from the moment we arrived and received such a warm welcome. Starting with the idyllic location in the middle of a beautiful landscape, through the very tasteful furnishings and loving renovation of the historic house with the beautiful, individually furnished suites, to the warm hosts with their warm and friendly manner and first-class cuisine.What Mark Beastall delivers here in the evening is astonishing and doesn't have to hide behind a star-rated kitchen. We regularly travel to star gastronomy and have not always experienced such a high level of quality and creativity as what Mark has presented to us here. Here someone not only cooks with very good training and professionalism, but also with a lot of heart. Many thanks to Mark for the wonderful culinary experience and many thanks to Anja and Michael for the warm hospitality!We would definitely like to come back-:)

We traveled from NYC and spent 3 nights of our honeymoon at the Alpenloge in January. We arrived in a snowstorm and Michael and his team had a gorgeous dinner waiting for us and were so helpful getting us into our room, they had arranged for a taxi for us from the train station, etc. We spent the next 3 days enjoying the absolutely stunning Room #7 - we could not believe the stunning view of fresh snow in the mountains, and the fireplace right by our bedside! Breakfast every day was delicious, we enjoyed a Hugo by the fire at night, sauna and steam during the afternoons, beautiful winter walks, a quick bus ride to Scheffau for lunch...I could go on. Michael and Anja were so lovely and helpful and kind, and every design detail is impeccable. The other guests were so nice, too. We will definitely be back in the summertime someday! Truly the highlight of our honeymoon.

The Alpenloge Design Hotel is a unique hotel with excellent service, loving hosts, wonderful views, excellent food and impressive rooms.We were a group of 10 people and spent a “birthday weekend” together in the Alpine Lodge.Helpful tips made planning easier for us and everyone felt at home from the welcome arrival to the departure.The dinner was phenomenal on both evenings and personal requests are happy to be accommodated.Well fortified with a great breakfast, there are numerous options in and around the Alpine Lodge for a relaxed day.We will be back definitely.Alpenloge Design Hotel – a jewel in the Allgäu Alps!
