Also had contact with the owner. Super nice and accommodating! Apartment was everything you needed. Soon there will also be wifi keys in the room. They are just old buildings that are gradually being modernized. The only thing that could possibly be criticized is that there is no elevator installed, but I have to say that most of the houses were built at the end of 1800, so of course it is no longer possible to have an elevator and build it on the outside... Well then the charm is lost.

1 month living in Kolo 77 and everything was very quiet and very good. 10 minutes walk from the metro.

I don't give fewer stars because it's not possible, we were on Erasmus but the cutlery was counted, they put 7 of us in an apartment with only one bathroom, they didn't give us anything at all to clean, a super dirty cloth and a bucket, no mop or brush nothing, they never cleaned, they never gave us a dirty floor, supposedly the cleaning was paid for and nothing, there were almost no kitchen tools, the beds were super uncomfortable and hard, there are no pillows, only a cushion that doesn't even serve as a cushion, and be careful with the toilet It's like plastic and it sinks and if it breaks you have to pay for it, everything is horrible, and the towels are sometimes super dirty.

It’s about 10 mins walking to the tube station, great service to the centre of Berlin .We stayed in July . There is no air con, but there were very few mosquitos so we could leave the windows open . Fridge and coffee machine and toaster are in the room .Supermarkets are 15 and 20 min walk .Internet costs 6 euros per week , internet food delivery is available.Hand towels are provided , larger towels were available on request ..

So the room was dirty... the kitchen was bad... what I personally liked was the location, very authentic... there was no breakfast... I wouldn't want to do it again...

In a safe and good area, easy access to main sights in Berlin :) There is a Lidl nearby too, about 7 mins by walk. Easy check in & out.

Not the best out there but the place is enjoyable enough, has almost everything but the shower keeps leaking and going out the shower creating a puddle in front of the hallway

Are you kidding me? You just put hand towels? No towel for shower. The room was never cleaned regularly. It's not worth the money you pay, its location is also a bad. I hope one day you will do your job properly or at least clean up.

A room like a worker's flat. The decor as from 40 years ago, although I do not know if two beds, a table with chairs, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers can be considered any decor. Beds very creaky, it was impossible to turn sideways at night so as not to wake everyone up. Walls very thin, you could even hear your neighbors taking a bath.When it comes to cleanliness, a dead bird on the kitchen window sill should be very eloquent on this topic. Besides, it was relatively ok.Up to 2 am parties in other rooms. Screaming, drunk tenants, running up the stairs, banging on doors and slamming doors. As I suspect, zero staff reaction to such outrageous behavior as it continued the next day.The "hotel" is located in such an area that it was scary to go down with the dog after dark. The two of us walked for greater safety.And the icing on the cake. We were with our dog when checking in at the reception. As it turned out later, the lady at the reception desk should charge us an additional fee. Apparently she did not do it, and when checking out, another lady accusingly stated that no one had a clue about our dog. How is it possible when, while going for a walk with him, I met the lady who checked us in? I do not know. Either way, the lady demanded a surcharge for the dog. According to the information on Booking, which we found quickly, it should be 30 euro. We were charged 50 euros!!! (we were there for two nights which is a very high price. 4 star hotels wish less). We paid a little over 60 euros/person/2 nights. We tried to convey to this lady what they write on the internet themselves, but it was impossible to communicate in English. I don't know if it was for lack of will or skill. I bet on the former, because earlier she had no problem accusing us of "hiding" the dog.To sum up, I have never given a hotel or restaurant a 1 star in my life, and here I would like to give a 0. This stay was a nightmare that I will gladly forget about quickly, and it ended even worse. I do not recommend.

Although large, the kitchen is completely outdated!! Must be replaced, 2 rusty hotplates are probably the last thing!!! Totally unworthy of a capital!!! The cleaning service should also work better, because smeared windows, dirty mirrors, unclean floors are a no go :-(.......Not even a bike rental--->3 stars are more than enough!! It's actually a Hostel, but definitely not a HOTEL

The location takes some getting used to. The promised kitchen in the room was not available but a group kitchen for one floor. The stove top as well as the kettle and the coffee machine were very disgusting. The beds didn't have a proper slatted frame and made noises every time you moved, the mattresses had stains as did the pillows. The 10 p.m. quiet time was not observed. Some cutlery still has food residue stuck to it. In summary, I will not visit this hotel again and will not recommend it to others
