A beautiful hotel that leaves nothing to be desired. Super delicious food, the 8-course holiday menu was a culinary delight and very courteous service. Our every wish was fulfilled. The wellness area was a dream, we were able to relax wonderfully. You can feel the warmth in the whole house. We would love to come back. Absolutely worth 4 stars, if not more!

My husband and I stayed at the Forsthaus Auerhahn for a weekend (Friday to Sunday). It was really a perfect stay. The selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner was great, the food was very tasty, we had a wonderfully large room (308) and the swimming pool and sauna area were beautiful and very well maintained and clean. We felt completely comfortable and were able to switch off and relax.The only criticism: I had a hot chocolate massage, which is supposed to last 60 minutes and costs 82 or 87 euros. I was picked up from the waiting area ten minutes late at 3:40 p.m., and the massage probably started around 3:45 p.m. When I got up from the lounger in the massage room and looked at the clock, it was 4:29 p.m. So the massage didn't even take 45 minutes. The masseur was already outside and I was already dressed again, so I didn't say anything, but it's not okay. In addition, the masseur was very scary to me and I didn't really feel comfortable with him.

It's a shame that it could have been tainted at the start by a reception service who forgot that he worked in a 4-star hotel and took little trouble for his customers when with a little will everything could be resolved. . Generally, there are people who listen but only one is out of place in a key position.

I'm back here after 8 years. Must have been there 4 times before. It has now expanded quite a bit - for the better. The expanded wellness area is fantastic. The service is very friendly and attentive. This time in Haus Wälzbach, about 400 meters from the main house. There is a cupboard in the wellness area so that you don't always have to carry everything back and forth.If you love your hair, you should bring your own hairdryer.

Hello,Yesterday I returned fresh and very well recovered from my vacation at the Hotel Auerhahn.We would like to thank everyone in the Auerhahn team for the great service and commitment.It wasn't the first vacation at the Hotel Auerhahn, but every vacation was different and, for us personally, simply wonderful. The food was once again exceptional. The chef is always very innovative💡 Idea when putting together the dishes. Great....Everything fits together at the Hotel Auerhahn for us. Wellness doesn't have to be perfect - wellness has to be beautiful. You simply feel good at the Auerhahn: The buffet has a very generous selection of everything good and healthy morning, lunch and evening. There is a small fitness room, endlessly beautiful nature to discover (in every season!), comfortable (but not old-fashioned) armchairs & wooden furnishings and a sauna with pool. It's a really small village for the guests, which becomes their home for a few days. Enjoy!

We were there for an overnight stay. Super friendly staff. If you arrive on time, you can go straight to the afternoon buffet until your room is free.The spa area is really beautiful and invites you to enjoy it. You can also use the spa area until 6 p.m. on the day of departure. The food is really tasty and really sufficient.Will definitely go here again.

I didn't go there and I'm glad we didn't have to meet the friendly owners in person. The booking process and the way of dealing with potential guests is anything but friendly. In this respect, one star is already 2 too many.
