The hotel is very quiet. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We slept very well. The hotel is ideal for excursions to Lake Constance.

The currently advertised game or deer goulash with red cabbage and pumpkin gnocchi was very well cooked and extremely tasty. The deer meat was tender, the red cabbage was a dream and the gnocchi, which were shaped like potato pieces, were really good. The restaurant was busy, but we were served quickly and friendly. The food also came to the table quickly and hot. In short, the house really didn't promise too much in its advertising. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended!

There is a shortage of staff here. We had to wait 20 minutes at check-in for someone to come. After the lady arrived we were greeted very unemotionally. We were given no information about when breakfast starts or where our room is. Everything happened very quickly.

A beautiful beer garden near Lake Constance with Bavarian cuisine. Had Bavarian sausage salad and schnitzel with fries. Both tasted great, the portion was really big. The service was very friendly and the toilet was very clean, which I think is no less important. We only ate here.

Anyone who likes rooms in need of renovation with the charm of the early 80s and has no demands on breakfast will feel at home here. Not us. And for what is on offer, the price is outrageous. I felt really comfortable in a better location for less money.The location is the only positive thing, you can walk to the island in half an hour.

Unfortunately you can't give zero points.Four of us went there for dinner today.One dish was fine.In two dishes the meat was still half raw🤢 even though it was ordered “done”.My food, ugh, okay, here's the description 🤢🤢The spinach dumplings from the bag were still frozen inside and the sauce was mixed mush. I told the waitress, no apology, nothing. She took my plate with her and after about ten minutes a guy with a baseball cap came back with the exact same plate with my cut dumpling in it. We asked if he was serious, the plate was just warmed up in the microwave.INCREDIBLE. That was really inedible.🤢🤢🤮🤮And at a high price.I asked the waitress if the boss was there, she said "yes, standing in front of you"I asked you again if you were serious about serving something like that at that price. She wanted to cook something new for me, but I refused because the other three had already finished eating. So do I.No apology, nothing.Such unprofessional service is an absolute no go.There were two women sitting at the next table who noticed this. They also said that the service is absolutely bad.We will never go there again and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.Sorry, but even at McDonald's the service is worlds better.

We booked the Schachener Hof because we had a very good meal there two years ago.The owner has now changed and was expected on Saturday August 3rd. an “event” with Slovenian cuisine, not edible for me.Then to the hotel…At €317.60 for one night for 2 people in a double room including breakfastYou can expect something... SHOULD…NO elevator, a gentleman showed the way up the 2 stairs and didn't think it was possible (70 years) to bring my suitcase to the room.Hallway and room stuffy and musty.…. not ventilated.The rooms are big enough and fortunately clean... but everything else is inviting.No mirror, except in the bathroom above the sink, no pictures or other decorations, a double bed ready for sleep and two unmade beds.Breakfast on SUNDAYs until 9:30!Breakfast was all the cheapest and often too little... one piece of ham, one type of cheese, the rest was pre-packaged cheap food... you obviously couldn't make fried eggs or scrambled eggs either.Staff was friendly - positive!Once and never again!!!!!

Four of us ate there. It was by far the worst meal we have ever had. The 'SpareRips' were cooked. Then carelessly smeared with a cold pepper and tomato paste. There was also an inedible cabbage (?) salad from a bucket. The turkey schnitzel was frozen. The potato salad also came out of the bucket. The dining room was dirty. The flowers dried up and without planters. Never again! It was definitely dingy and run down.

We had an overnight stay on our trip to Genoa from April 27th. on April 28th booked. In advance, we were asked to send data by email, such as complete address, dates of birth, including where born, license plate number, etc. When we asked Booking (Booking warns against the transmission of personal data by email), we were told that in this district by the Police would need the data in order to gain immediate access in the event of corresponding crimeMy point that we present the data upon arrival and that sending it by email contradicts the General Data Protection Regulation was accepted by the hotel and Booking without any response. We booked another hotel just two places further away through Booking without any further problems. Unfortunately we booked without any cancellation options. So the hotel did business without any effort. When I read through the other reviews it seems the concept is to rake in money for poor quality.

Very unfriendly boss, the rooms are not inviting and don't have much in common with the website. No curtains in front of the windows, upon request we were offered a wool blanket for the windows. Everything was very careless, but damn expensive. have 5 daysWe endured there because there were no more rooms in Lindau. In the 5 days, no one cleaned the room or took out the garbage.Thank God we found something nice.
