Unfortunately, there isn't much positive to say about our stay at the Hotel Restaurant Natur Stein in Lörrach. This hotel turned out to be a real disappointment and there are some areas where it desperately needs improvement.First the rooms: Unfortunately, our expectations were not met here. The rooms were small and dingy. The furnishings were outdated and worn, which did not create a comfortable atmosphere. The bed was uncomfortable and looked like it hadn't been replaced in a long time. The cleanliness also left something to be desired and we even found some traces of mold in the bathroom. This significantly affected our stay.The service in the Hotel Restaurant Natur Stein was also not satisfactory. The staff seemed disinterested and disorganized. Inquiries and complaints were often ignored or only treated half-heartedly. Customer service should be much better in a hotel of this type.The location of the hotel was also disappointing. It is on a busy road which resulted in considerable noise. The view from our room was unappealing and there was no opportunity to relax or unwind in the immediate area.In summary, staying at the Hotel Restaurant Natur Stein in Lörrach was a frustrating experience. The rooms, service and location leave a lot to be desired. There are definitely better options in this city and we would not recommend this hotel.

Booked an overnight single room with breakfast for 85 euros. When I arrived I was not on the arrival list. I was told there is no breakfast so only 65 euros but payment in advance.PREPAYMENT? But cash. No card payment possible. Then in the room. Blood stain on the bedspread. Bedside lamp broken. TV set defective. The toilet seat was loose and fell on the floor. Never again.

We have a voucher book which also contains a voucher for the Naturstein restaurant.Unfortunately, we didn't reach anyone by phone several times on different days to make a reservation.We assume that the restaurant is closed. If this is not the case, the service leaves a lot to be desired.

DANGER! RIP-OFF! The owner wants you to cancel the booking from Booking.com on site because there has allegedly been a mistake. Then you should make the booking again via the website and pay in cash! He wanted us to pay €20 more than at Booking.com and wanted to convince us that this supposedly saved commission costs, but he wanted us to pay MORE. The bathroom needs to be redone. Unfortunately, he doesn't understand anything about kindness either. JUST A RIP-OFF!!!!

Very nice hotel, but no service. Firstly, the heating didn’t work, it was freezing!!! There is no hot water!!! There was no television either! There was no one at the front desk to complain to. If you want to spend a night in extreme conditions, this is the place for you! We didn't get any rest. One star for the interior and nothing else!

We made a reservation for September 16-19, 2021, the hotel confirmed the reservation to us by email and when we arrived on the 16th after a 560km car trip, we were not on their reservation list and we didn't have a room. Hotel to forget, no professionalism.
