Absolute dump, nothing more needs to be said about it. An absolute disgrace at this price. We were only there 2 nights during an event nearby. One night would have been enough for us to definitely never stay there again. At least we got a room under the roof that had its own shower. Otherwise there is only a communal shower.- Dirty, unkempt building (inside and outside)- Noisy pub directly below the rooms- Busy train tracks right next to the building- Poor furnishings in the rooms- For the rooms under the roof: Bad shower with broken shower head, unpleasant toilet without soap for washing hands- For all other rooms: shared showerTo put it bluntly: a really shitty experience.Not recommended at all.

Cleanliness is poor, walls are dirty, bed linen with holes, hair on the bed! shared toilet and all for a whopping €130 for 1 night! Unfortunately, an emergency solution was otherwise not recommended 🤦🏻♂️, the only thing that was good is the one at the reception/bistro counter 😂

Seldom seen such a hovel. Furniture from bulky waste and communal shower in the hallway. As a bonus, the train runs through the room. Certainly never again.

For us it was not a good experience. We will not return.The reception of the guest house was in a café. This was strange. We were warmly welcomed and helped to carry our luggage to the room. There is WiFi, but I had to ask for it in the cafe.The guest house itself is located next to the cafe. We were in the large room of 4 at the very top. You will receive a code to enter your room. However, the room was extremely warm. My children and I couldn't sleep because of the heat. There were 2 fans in the room. The room was a bit outdated but clean.

Very bad,Lived there for 1 month after the money was stolen and the police reported it. 6 hours later, 4 police officers were sent to say there was a riot, even though there were cameras all over the place. Police officers didn't want to see the footage. As of Sunday I don't have my things, very bad use of the police.... Everyone Today they say something different, no help. Toalete without ventilation but windows must remain closed. The owner lies endlessly, poor...

The beds were sagging and there were stains on the bed linen and burn holes in the mattress, bad air and loud music until 5 a.m. and dirtyOtherwise everything was good, friendly reception and the location was okay, but I would never book a room there again

The party over at the bar lasts until early and the train almost runs through the bed. Earplugs are left on the bed for a reason.

One of those places where the matraces are to weak to keep you in postion, the linen smells a little bit to much of it's conditioner, some butts left their traces in the shared bathrooms even smoking is prohibitived, a group of russian construction-workers are enjoying their bottle of vodka in the common kitchen and the pub plays german countrymusic (search Google for "Dicke Titten, Kartoffelsalat") allnight long. Definitely one of the most f***** up places i ever stayed. Didn't sleep at all. But it's worth the one star rating as it's german "Provinz" at it's finest and for sure something to remind for your life. Beside the pub, there is a german restaurant nearby and a nightclub with some girls. Be sure to wear your trucker outfit and bring some Malboros! Wild South...

It is a very good choice if you want to stay 1 or 2 days with a cost effective room or if you are in a trip in Basel area or south part of Germany. Otherwise, It is not since there is a pub in downstairs and it is a little bit noisy and noise can be heard easily if you are stay on the first floor. The pub in the downstairs is a classical german pub and smoking allowed.Hotel is not so far from the city center and it takes 15-20 minutes to reach bus stop to visit Basel.

The room was surprisingly nice when compared to the rest of the Pension. Staff was pleasant.||||Just ONE bathroom (incl. toilet/shower) for all rooms which left us waiting our turn a few times, not pleasant. Smoking allowed in the kitchen which is already quite small - yuk.
