We visited someone at the campsite. It was a lovely atmosphere, all nice people. It is a beautiful property, but unfortunately we found out that the operator wants to quit and we sincerely hope that this is not the end of this campsite. The opportunity to go on vacation in such a beautiful place must not be destroyed, also in the interest of everyone who leases a property and is a long-term camper. It would be great if a new operator could be found soon and maintain this paradise.

The place is beautifully situated in the forest by the lake in nature. I was warmly welcomed and spontaneously given a place close to the lake near the passage to the beach. Sandy and slightly sloping, reminds me of Italy. 😊 The sanitary facilities were clean and functional. The lake is hidden by the forest and bushes. There are only tents right on the water. Access to the lake with a small sandy beach and a jetty. The water is nice for swimming or paddling. Unfortunately, the fact that you can only pay in cash is still far too often the case in Germany. It is clearly written out on the HP and you can adjust to it. The price/performance ratio is somewhat reduced by the extra costs for garbage and shower tokens. Unfortunately there is also no disposal option for mobile homes. The place is super quiet and idyllic in the evenings with crickets chirping. On my evening there was a party somewhere in the direction of the village. The music and bass could be heard until around midnight. I wanted to go there and join in the celebration 😆 I somehow didn't expect that in such a remote place in the middle of nature 😉

Report from 2020. So a lot may have changed.Showers with a branded machine outside the shower cubicles, stupid if you have to throw more. I also mentioned this to the groundskeeper, he still needs to learn the ability to take criticism 😉Everything is clean so far.Food at the snack bar was very tasty.For the price you can't complain.Addition from August 2024: Showering for women is now optimal.The place is still great, a dream for dogs too.Shade, partial shade or sun on the pitch, everything is available. Great for me as a woman traveling alone. My place is in the shade so I can leave the dog in the car while I take a quick shower. I just look for the most or less (un)official dog bathing area every year because there is no sign.

Anyone who needs peace and relaxation. Would like to experience friendly employees. Would like to be pampered with food and drinks. Want to enjoy beautiful pitches. This is the right place. It's been a long time since I've experienced a campsite like this. Employees escort the guests to the parking space. Bread rolls and newspapers are delivered to the motorhome early. All-round service.The only drawback. The shower rooms. Discoloration on the ceiling. Short shower times. The temperature of the water cannot be regulated. Nevertheless, it was a great experience for us and we will be back.

For a German campsite it was nice, green and natural, with a busy little bar and clean facilities. Lake was beautiful for a swim and couldn’t complain about the weather. I reserved by email and check in was uncomplicated if a little business like. The shower tokens you buy from the little bar, not at reception, some information about this on advance would have saved us from stressing out the already stressed lady. 1€ per shower.

Nice place in the forest by a small lake. Everything very clean. Showers and toilets are sufficiently available and modern. Very well maintained. We'd love to come back.

After a wet weekend we are very happy to leave this lovely piece of forest. The campsite has the potential to be perfect: smoked fish, CWP, a beautiful lake. Unfortunately, the campsite manager hates people. Or she's having a bad week. A great place to show off your new T-shirt with far-right print. Anyway, not surprising since the most left-wing election posters in the area are from CDU. LOL. Not mehr

Great campsite between tall trees. Flooded with light with shaded areas. Beautiful lake with many small niches to be undisturbed.The lake is overgrown with tall grass all around and can hardly be seen from the outside. pure natureThe boss reacts to questions in a somewhat annoyed and rude manner, but his very friendly and courteous colleague makes up for it!

Highly Recommended. Super friendly. A beautiful campsite located in the forest. There is enough privacy through the trees and bushes. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-equipped (shower, changing area, toilets). Also enough space to wash up. There are taps all over the place. Electricity on site if required. Also wonderful for swimming. There are several playgrounds for the children. We will be back definitely. Price-performance is top 👌

We were here for a few days of vacation. We had bungalow 2. The accommodation is very modern, with a terrace and fenced. Unfortunately on the other side of the lake, but not that far away on foot. There are enough toys everywhere on the campsite. The food at the snack bar tastes great. We also enjoyed using the bread roll service. The lake is clean and suitable for children as it is shallow at the front. You can spend lovely days here.

A family-run campsite on a small, idyllic lake in the middle of the forest, you can't get more nature than that.The greeting is very friendly and you feel welcome.There is a sandy beach that is ideal for swimming and the lake is suitable for stand-up paddling.There is a lot to discover for nature photographers, forest birds, squirrels and lots of stag beetles.In the area there are several lakes and Ferropolis, the city of iron.Everything can be easily reached by bike.Anyone who has been here will definitely come back.We definitely do!Torsten and Maritta from WR

This is the third year now that I have been holding our closing ceremony of the season with various youth teams from VfB Gräfenhainichen. There is a football field here, you can go swimming and it is very quiet and child-friendly. Great praise.
