The food was very tasty and the atmosphere (except for the loud music) was pleasant. The service was nice and humorous, but very overwhelmed. Overall everything was a huge mess in terms of service/structure. The waiting times for our food were also utopian.

I deliberately didn't read the reviews beforehand and we were looking forward to a rustic restaurant with German home cooking in the company of our little family. I'm stunned by what some people write here, things can always get worse instead of objectivity and empathy. But only someone who is confronted with customers in their daily work life can understand that. We received a very friendly welcome and were seated as ordered. Our smile was returned and the festively set table with the fresh greenery and flowers was lovingly arranged, getting us in the mood for a cozy rest of the day. We were happy to have a friendly conversation with the boss, her introduction and the unobtrusive recommendation of the house. We had ordered different dishes and we didn't find the waiting time to be long, you always have something to tell each other in these fast-moving times. We enjoyed the deceleration. The drinks came quickly, the starter soup was spicy and delicate, everyone really enjoyed it, the small salad afterwards...eat like you're eating, all the main dishes were delicious, I couldn't have done it better and I also like to cook well (they say :-) The dessert was adjusted, a replacement was offered for something that was not selected and the apple strudel was a dream and unfortunately all too quickly. Everything was fresh, hot and everyone enjoyed it and everyone was full. We felt like kings and came as guests. We also asked several times whether everything was to our satisfaction, which was unanimously affirmed. As we gradually said goodbye, we were rarely as deeply relaxed as we were today. We were happy to accept further recommendations from the boss on the way for possible further visits. Regarding the negative reviews. We can't confirm at all, were we perhaps in another restaurant? Or is it more true that as it reverberates in, it sometimes reverberates back. As a customer, even if you have a less than ideal day, you should evaluate it objectively and rather sleep on it for a night. I've learned that if I can't say anything good about something or someone, I'd rather not say anything at all. And I don't think the overall package was bad. We clearly recommend it and WE would be happy to come back.

The occasion was my father's 90th birthday. The service was very bad. Very long waiting times between drink and food orders. After ordering food, 20 minutes later we discovered that a meal was no longer available.After eating we ordered 5 ouzo we only got four. Because no one was there anymore.The Ballantines (whiskey) we ordered afterwards were no longer available either. The decorations on the table were terrible. Waiting times were no longer reasonable.Despite the fact that the food was very good, the poor service spoiled our evening.

Absolute disaster. (Wedding guests with overnight stay)When my partner and I arrived we were approached with a derogatory comment about the room layout and my lack of a smile.When we finally got into the room, we wanted to turn around and leave!The whole room was run down and dirty!Unfortunately, a few things went wrong at the wedding reception.Unfortunately for the bride and groom.3 employees for a 100 person wedding, drinks orders would not be accepted and would be answered with the slogan "What is that?" or “We didn’t.” dismissed [THERE WERE THE DRINKS].If you ordered, you could look forward to a long wait because the drinks took 30 minutes to 50 minutes or sometimes didn't arrive at all.In addition, the staff wanted to get you drunk quickly, as they only served double mixes on purpose. (staff heard when ordering)If you think there's a lot in it, you'll order less.I also can't understand the positive reviews about the food because my partner and I both had stomach problems after eating and in the morning.However, this is no surprise when there is hair in food.I would draw the conclusion from this unfortunately negative experience that it would be much better for everyone to close this restaurant.

Disaster, the rooms are dirty and broken, the service is totally unfriendly, the boss is very unfriendly and not the least bit professional.We celebrated a wedding there and I can say the food tasted strange and I didn't feel well after eating it.When I ordered a drink, the employees were unfriendly and it sometimes took an hour until what was ordered was there.The room was paid in cash 100€ for one night.Overall, one star is already too many.I will never enter this inn again and I do not recommend anyone to eat or stay there

We were here as a small family.The food was delicious.The service was fantastic.As a larger family, we like to come together here to be pampered.The boss has already made her offer. Unique.Here the guest is the king.

We were at the Gasthof Lingenau for a birthday party with around 20 people. The organization on site was impeccable. The birthday table was beautifully set and decorated. The champagne reception, the serving of food and drinks and the service throughout our celebration was very professional, quick and attentive. The food (home cooking) was excellent. Many thanks to the chef! The landlady, Ms. Büttner, was very warm and knew how to entertain us excellently. We ate very well, sang and laughed a lot. Ms. Büttner and her entire team played a huge part in the success of our birthday party. We say thank you very much for that. We'd love to come back.

We went on a bike tour and stopped at the Landgasthof Lingenau. We weren't given a particularly friendly welcome right from the start. When we asked for the menu, the boss barked at us that we had to order drinks first and then the cards would come. Then terribly loud music started playing. The drinks were brought and we were allowed to order our food. After that, nothing happened for over an hour. No waiter cared, no information about the food we ordered, nothing. We then paid for our drinks and were again reprimanded by the boss that we should sit down and wait for our food. Our tolerance limit was exceeded and we left this inhospitable house. But the music continued to play loudly. Simply catastrophic and not recommended.
