Since the ferry is closed due to the flood, we had to drive behind the bad road. Which is still partially underwater. The guests should have been informed about this.We were warmly welcomed and said goodbye on departure. However, one woman was nervous at the reception.The rooms with balconies have a beautiful view of the river. However, new curtains would have to be made again because they have holes and the bathroom could have been cleaner.The location is nice and quiet.But the food leaves a lot to be desired, with a currywurst you get a horse roast and no side salad.I wouldn't order a Lillet Berry because some of the raspberries were black and moldy, which the staff should have seen when they were preparing them.Therefore we will not be coming back and will not recommend it to anyone else.

We went on a short bike ride and stopped there to "strengthen up." We can definitely work on the quantity here again, as the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right. The taste was great. I had the Elbburger with fries, fries seemed homemade and were very good AAA BUT far too little and I'm not understating that.

We had a wonderful meal here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My wife enjoyed the tarte flambée. I had the wild boar ragout which was excellent. Price performance top.I can't say anything about the rooms because we didn't use the hotel.

Nice place to stay to get away from the noise and crowd. No air condition and there was a lot of mosquitoes and bugs seeing that it is next to a beautiful river.

Very nice location and the food tastes great! We had the family room and were happy with it. In one or two corners there could be some renovation (e.g. the blinds have some stains) but all in all a solid place to stay overnight

After a trip to Wittenberg, we took the ferry and drank coffee on the Elbe terraces with a romantic view of the Elbe. There were delicious, home-baked cakes and the staff were friendly, quick and competent.The location is fantastic, service great, variety on offer.The hotel is recommended for a stop or a longer stay because it is centrally located and you can get to Wörlitz, the excavator city, Wittenberg, Dessau....Worth a trip.

We celebrated a summer party with 30 people on the Elbe terraces. The restaurant, located directly on the Elbe, is perfect for this kind of celebration. In addition, the agreements with Mr. Ziegler were very uncomplicated and everything that was agreed upon was implemented perfectly. The service was excellent and the employees were very nice and courteous. The grill buffet should also be highlighted, everything was prepared exactly right. It is ideal that overnight accommodations are offered. Perfect

Idyllic, selected good food, nice team and delicious beer. I was there for the first time 2 years ago and again today. Hopefully again soon! :)A small experience is the crossing with the small car ferry if you come from Coswig. But you can also land easily by boat and have a good view of the boats from the outside terrace.Edit: A year later, I unfortunately have to revise my consistently positive review. The solyanka was only lukewarm or rather cold and the waitress put the orders for 6 people on the table with the comment "I'll put it here like this" and left again.

We were lucky to get a spot on the Elbe terrace after a 10km hike in over 30 degrees. Beer was very 😋 delicious, currywurst was huge with a free choice of side dishes. I thought it was great. Cooling off in the Elbe, awesome. Everything was fine. The cake is very tasty. Top recommendation. Very tasteful interior.

We were on the site with a motorhome. Service and food were great. Nice, quiet place with a view of the ELBE and the FERRY. The only thing that isn't so nice is the access, 4 km of COBSTONE (historic) the WOMO is 2 years old. It's better to take the FERRY from the NORTH, it comes out directly at PLATZ. We took the FERRY back and forth for a bit.

Visit to the restaurant: the menu is clear but varied, the food was of the best quality and the service was very charming and friendly.Highly recommended!
