Beautifully idyllic location by the forest (nature reserve). There is a beautifully landscaped park around the house. Very nice owners who are happy to help with tips. The rooms in the historic building with correspondingly lovingly furnished furniture. It doesn't get any better. But: Breakfast tops everything again. Brilliant! Here too, requests are happy to be accommodated.

It's an absolute dream. The facility, the peace, the babbling stream, the adjacent forest.The rooms are so beautifully furnished and beautifully decorated.But the absolute dream is the breakfast. So beautifully laid out, beautifully detailed, decorated with garden herbs and flowers, everything is edible.Super nice hosts. Thank you very much to them. Always happy again.

We were there from April 29th. We were guests until May 4th, 2024 and decided on the garden house with breakfast. It was simply wonderful and an unforgettable week for us. A loving accommodation with warm hosts. The breakfast was opulent and prepared with great attention to detail and fresh herbs. The area is characterized by peace and idyllic nature. We were able to spend the first weekend of Advent in this beautiful, idyllic place and we are really thrilled. We were looked after so lovingly by our hosts. Whether in the form of delicious delicacies that the lady of the house conjured up for us from morning to night (everything cooked with love!) or the cozy evenings together by the fireplace, where stories were read to us over mulled wine or tea or something else interesting topics of conversation arose. The Bahlmann family has put their heart and soul into everything. The rooms/apartments and everything else on the premises are lovingly and tastefully designed down to the smallest detail. Above all, the ambience made me feel like I was transported back to an earlier time, it brought back old memories of my childhood, of my grandparents... it also had something of a sense of deceleration, of finding peace. We really enjoyed it. In short, we can only warmly recommend it. And we definitely want and will come back!

The Waldpension Buchholzmühle in Saxony-Anhalt is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. We were able to stay in one of the rooms with a double bed and really enjoyed the attention to detail, the craftsmanship and the wonderful down comforters. Breakfast is a special highlight as it is prepared with fresh herbs from the garden, our own fruits and eggs. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and are happy to explain everything about the surroundings and nature. The area is great for exploring by bike. The house and garden are beautiful and invite you to linger. We can only recommend the Buchholzmühle and would be happy to come back!P.S.: There is now a good internet connection and there is also hot water :-)
