The complex is very open, can be accessed from several sides, and is also worth a visit with a dog on a leash.Parking costs at least €4 per day. The amount goes towards maintaining the monastery complex.

We really enjoyed the film evening in the monastery. An incredible atmosphere to watch the film *The Name of the Rose* in one of the original filming locations. The whole thing was preceded by a guided tour with explanations of the film. Simply great and absolutely recommended.

Entry is extremely expensive and visiting the church is not possible without paying 16 euros. Too bad for this spiritual place.

After 2 hours of visiting, I still didn't understand the concept of the place. Upscale wine bar, Playmobil exhibition, a few conference rooms, lots of paid parking spaces, closed monastery taverns, admission 16 per adult. For what? Because of the movie “The Name of the Rose”?

In my opinion, the price/performance ratio for the visit is not right at all, with an entrance fee of 14 EUR per adult and 13 EUR (!) per child. In addition, the rooms are constantly undergoing renovation work, so you can't see everything. There are also 4 EUR parking fees.The monastery complex is otherwise beautiful and has a very great park-like landscape.

Monastery worth visiting with a guided tour. Hotel clean, simple, very comfortable beds, but unfortunately noisy. Restaurant menu clear and food not exactly cheap. Service in the monastery, hotel & restaurant was great!!

Pure rest and relaxation. The monastery is beautiful in its simplicity. A large facility. The surrounding area is also ideal for hiking. A bus connection basically ends in front of the door. A short walk and you're at the checkout. The monastery tavern is located above the monastery. I had a very tasty meal there.

A beautiful, large monastery complex. Well preserved, especially from the outside. However, it seems to me that the focus is on selling wine etc. and there is hardly any historical material or information available.

To be honest, I was disappointedFor 16 euros per person, I expected more. Undeniably a great facility that is also worth seeing. You are sent back and forth with insufficient signage only to end up in the shop where the wine is sold for expensive money.

I also think the price/performance ratio is a bit exaggerated. Yes, it is a beautiful complex from the outside and it would have been absolutely sufficient to look at it.We had zero interest in the Playmobil exhibition, but ended up paying the entrance fee for the tour. What can I say, it was a small, fine, not too spectacular tour.

The Eberbach Monastery is an absolute must if you are spending a long weekend nearby or even in Advil. The film called The Rose was filmed here. Architecturally beautiful to look at, located in a very beautiful park. Immerse yourself in the history of the monks' winemaking and herb production. Unfortunately, the church is no longer a violent church, but just an event space. What was annoying about the tour was that event stages were set up everywhere and the history of the monastery was pushed into the background. The Playmobil world is also a change for our little ones but certainly has no place in this monastery. It would be appropriate to book a guided tour here in order to find out the details about the Eberbach Monastery and the effort that the monks put in back then. There are enough parking spaces in front of the monastery.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. Actually, for 14 euros (if you don't include the parking fee) you walk across a poorly signposted construction site. Unfortunately, the audio guide is only available in two languages and there are no information boards in different languages.There are no interactive explanations or films as is common in establishments like these these days. The audio guide only briefly reports on the film "The Name of the Rose". It's a real search game. It's a shame, we got something for the money expected otherwise.And dear team from Eberbach Monastery, I don't need an answer from you. You have already written enough texts to the other guests.

Today we visited the Eberbach Monastery.An impressive building, it even smells really damp and musty in some rooms :)I am a wheelchair user and was impressed by Mr. Thomas' friendliness and experienced guidance.He told interesting details and stories about the monastery, guided us to elevators and shortcuts.Thank you very much for that!There was also a spacious, clean disabled toilet.The admission price included a visit to the Playmobil exhibition “A Trip Around the World”.What wonderful hard work, countries and continents are represented with Playmobil figures, animals, objects, buildings, nature, everything that is possible with Playmobil.A large play area for children was not missing.The trip was rounded off with a visit to the monastery tavern, where we enjoyed fresh bread with delicious spreads and cheese under the shady trees.The bread tasted so good that we took a loaf to take home.A successful afternoon, highly recommended.

Juicy entry price that raises high expectations - and is not met at all!No, it is actually an impertinence to charge 16 euros for entry when large parts of the property are basically not open to the public, others are currently occupied by closed companies/only reserved for them, others are absolutely unsightly due to renovation work and still others are due to preparations for an upcoming event Major events in hectic conversion are.Sorry, this high entrance fee is just rude and annoying!Only the monastery tavern with a great, tasty snack and very nice staff saves the complex from being completely destroyed.Addendum (your answer)I paid(!) 16 euros.At your request at your entrance.Are you accusing me of lying?
