Wonderful, quiet location. The room is simple but spacious, very clean and tidy. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming, always available for a chat. TheBreakfast was put together individually. The whole ambience was very harmonious despite a lot of individuality and unusual taste. Thumbs up for such hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

For my wife's 60th birthday, we met in large groups with our children, granddaughters and siblings (16 in total) in this beautiful accommodation. We were able to agree on the menus for three beautiful days in advance. Our wishes and all special requirements (lactose- and gluten-free food) were taken into account and warm baby food was also provided for the youngest. The breakfast offering was plentiful, varied, regional and very tasty every day.Three different cakes were baked for the birthday party, which were very well received by everyone, especially Tina's almond cream cake. The daily loving table design is particularly noteworthy. Axel surprised us with the menus and convinced us with variations that we didn't know. The excursion recommendations for the surrounding area were also helpful.Thank you for everything. We would like to recommend the location for special family gatherings, as the accommodation and supplies go well together. We felt the warmth of the operators and staff every day, from the greeting to the farewell.See you next time.

Great, friendly and authentic hosts. Very accommodating andstill always relaxed and warm. Coziness and inviting ambience whether in the house, on the terrace or in the garden. The rooms are lovingly furnished and equipped with modern bathrooms. We had an excellent meal and felt very comfortable here. With consistently very satisfied guests, it is difficult to understand how to rate such a great overall package as bad in all respects based on an announced family celebration with nice people, good mood, music and dancing on a Saturday evening.Just like here, you would like to be a guest everywhere. Tina & Axel - we would love to come back and warmly recommend you!

Not recommended: Noise pollution in the middle of the night (right next to the national park...). When it's pointed out that it's disruptive to sleeping, comes the lie about turning down the volume, followed by secret mockery - and the noise continues.

It was nice there, even though we couldn't use the garden because of the rain. The forge is lovingly prepared, the room and breakfast were great. The hosts are extremely charming and helpful and give really good tips. Two negative points: the floor in our room was not cleaned and the drinks that you can buy yourself on site are quite expensive: bottled beer at 5.50 is gastro prices, not self-service refrigerator prices. Nevertheless, we took two wines, around 24 euros each. The quality of the wines was convincing. And another note: The restaurant is NOT ALWAYS open.Definitely a recommendation. We only stayed two nights, but you can stay there longer. We say thank you very much.

Getting to know the Mecklenburg Lake District for the first time in a very appealing atmosphere. Tastefully converted old smithy with very attentive hosts who provide lots of suggestions and tips to help you understand the charming landscape. An excellent barbecue on Saturday and a balanced breakfast. Overall, highly recommended accommodation.
