Today we went here for dinner for the first time with the Schlemmerblock. The food in general tasted very good. I had a gourmet cordon bleu, which was unfortunately still partly raw in the middle. I also mentioned this when I was clearing the plate and they just said that she would pass it on. We also wanted another drink, but unfortunately no one paid any attention to us, so we paid straight away. There was no thank you or goodbye, unfortunately only a mass check-in, which I think is a shame because we like to value personal things and unfortunately another visit is out of the question for us.

Cozy, rustic restaurant with clean toilets. The cordon bleu was juicy meat in a crispy and deliciously seasoned breading. Top quality!! There was also a mixed salad that tasted great! We've been there before and are thrilled again. Price/performance is really great!!

We booked a cozy, furnished room for my husband's 70th birthday. We also went out to dinner long beforehand to test what we would like for this special evening. The boss himself gave us good advice and we put together a buffet together. When we celebrated our evening with over 30 guests, we were a bit disappointed with the service itself. The waitress who was responsible for us was friendly. However, some time later a male waitress came and asked me if you could have the one table with four. I agreed to this, but I didn't know that strangers were then simply brought into the room at our event. I was of the opinion that this table would be taken out. When I asked that this might be a misunderstanding since we would like to be among ourselves, the waitress simply said that I had agreed and that it was so full and he couldn't seat the people somewhere else. Plus, I definitely wouldn't have booked the entire room just for us. ..(NO, I always book on such occasions for strangers who might still be coming) When I then asked again whether there was no other option, I was told, not very friendly, that they would get these people out as soon as one Table becomes free in the other rooms. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed it. The service could do with some work, even if you are under stress like on an evening like this. Unfortunately, some drinks were brought at the end in washed glasses, but they were completely wet on the outside.......all in all, the ambience was nice, the food was super tasty and after we had our celebration without strangers , were able to continue, all guests went home satisfied and full....It remains questionable whether we will book an event again...One last thing: when I wanted to pay, I was immediately asked if I would pay the tip with a card. So I think it's not okay to be asked if you give a tip. It goes without saying, with the tip, right?

I think the restaurant is beautiful, it is rustic and cozy.The food is fresh and it is beautifully presented on the plate. The portions are really big and you'll be full.The menu really has something for everyone, even for vegetarians and vegans there is a small, nice selection of dishes.There is one small note: you should show the gourmet block before ordering your food.

We got there through the Schlemmerblock. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience. Very lovingly furnished, you feel comfortable. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was consistently very tasty. There is something for everyone. Also for vegetarians. We'd love to come back.

Were at the new location on Hasslocher Strasse (formerly Mainzer Strasse) for the first time. The place was very full, luckily we had a reservation. Visually, the restaurant makes a great impression. Lots of old decorative pieces. Terrace very homely. Service very friendly. The food was very rich, with herring and minced steak, but couldn't finish it all. Super fresh salad and delicious dressing. Due to the many guests... unpleasantly loud.

The restaurant is also a clubhouse and is furnished accordingly. There are long tables with benches as well as tables of two or four. A larger room is available for parties. There are enough parking spaces. The food reflects the taste of Hesse, which is why the menu is printed in the local language.Schnitzel dishes in many variations and with various side dishes are offered.The several times we were there were convincing. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was good, the schnitzels were well seasoned and the side dishes were also very tasty.

Super delicious Hessian cuisine. The employees are very nice and always approachable. The large parking lot right in front of the door is also important. We'd love to come back. It's definitely fun to eat here.
