We stopped with our camper in the entrance to the campsite with a handbrake that wouldn't release. It felt like half the campsite offered us help and even though the campsite was closed we were allowed to stay on the campsite after our problem was solved. The highlight was the mulled wine. Thanks to the great owners of the place. You have your heart in the right place.Stefan Wieber and Beate Aschenbrenner from Müllheim

We were there in August 2024 and were very satisfied. Very nicely located square, right on the Rhine, sanitary clean, close to the center, a great start for bike excursions. We'd love to come back!

Beautifully located campsite directly on the Rhine, separated from the riverside path by a fence. In the front row there is a beautiful view of the Rhine. Meadow area, partly flat, partly slightly sloping (wedges). Mostly shadeless except for the first row on the Rhine, which is shaded by large trees on the banks. Always clean sanitary facilities, adequately sized, but a little further away from the rear parking spaces. WiFi only available in the front area. Very friendly staff, we are accompanied and instructed on arrival to the parking space. A big plus from me (some people may see it differently) because grilling on the site is only allowed with gas or electric, so there is no smoke nuisance or fire risk. Bread roll service via the reception of the Schlaffassdorf Rheingau 524 (right at the campsite) was brilliantly solved by ordering via QR code. Nice Italian restaurant on the square. About 1 km to Rüdesheim, the center of Geisenheim can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
