The hotel is beautifully secluded in a forest and makes a very well-kept impression.The room was also very clean. It was nice that there was a small balcony. This meant you could sit outside again in the evening and ventilate nicely in the morning.Breakfast was a little meager during the week, but there was plenty on the weekend. It's completely understandable that you don't set up a large buffet during the week when there are few guests, but it's a shame anyway because we still pay for breakfast and can't do anything for the occupancy.The staff was very friendly and everything was refilled quickly.What we didn't like at all was the "check-in" process. You ring the doorbell, you are let into the house via an intercom, and the key is then left on a chest of drawers in the entrance area. It is a great pity that there is no time for a short, personal greeting. We've never felt so unwelcome in a hotel as we did that day, so I'm deducting a point from the overall rating because it really ruined our mood for the evening.Nevertheless, the hotel gets a recommendation.

Reception without welcome. Intercom! Information about where the key for the room is, the guest then has to find everything else themselves, e.g. room itself, WiFi...Room unheated and cold, poorly ventilated, aftershave or deodorant from the last guest still hung in the air.There was only contact with people at breakfast and, of course, when money was involved, when checking out.

Attention, the pictures suggest an active hotel operation. That's not correct. Check-in is done via a bell; you take your own key with you. The restaurant has been closed for months and reference is made to a partner restaurant in town. Due to generally bad reviews, we prefer to go somewhere else and can highly recommend “Goldatzel” for food and also because of the view of the vineyard!There is no lounge or anything similar, but there is a small self-service minibar with Aldi nuts, a few snacks, a large cold drinks cabinet, including Trenz rosé, otherwise rather unspectacular. The “quiet location” is somewhat limited when the window is open because you can hear the country road. The room interior is rather typically tasteless, like if you renovated your hotel at the end of the 90s. It's a shame because the location is niceForest. The breakfast was ok, canned fruit salad and “Buko cream cheese” as well as discount “Nutella”, but a good selection of tea even with open verbena tea, delicious mini croissants, great selection of bread.Friendliness is more on a neutral level with the bare essentials, hospitality is different.Price: 130 euros per night plus 2 x 16 euros for breakfast. A total of 50-60 euros is definitely too expensive. Let's not do it anymore. A pity.

A lady of the house opened a side door to the accommodation (we couldn't just walk in). The reception was extremely unfriendly. When we realized together that the beds were not set up correctly, the lady brought us bedding, put it on our bed and described how to make up the extra bed with it and left our room again. I think it's clear that something like this wouldn't exist in a serviced hotel!!!!The room was outdated, no air conditioning, clean and otherwise not worth mentioning.The location of the accommodation is a little away from the road (therefore very quiet) and is located next to the forest. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk to the next town.Parking is free of charge.All in all, for me it's clearly a 1-2 star accommodation that has nothing to do with a hotel. Service therefore not available. The lady who welcomed us could simply be friendly, after all we were too.If you need accommodation in this region for one or two nights and can get a room for 60-85 euros per night, you can do so. But in my opinion it's not worth more.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location in the forest. Signage from the main road could be clearer. A big plus is the huge parking lot. Staff willing. The room was quite spacious, the bed comfortable. I would accept, for example, a small refrigerator. The bathroom was nice and clean, but there were no hygiene items (hand soap), which you don't take with you if you're traveling for one night. Restaurant at a decent level. Breakfast more modest but tasty, cold buffet.
