My review is also based on my purely subjective opinion:We stayed at this hotel on a very warm summer weekend in 2024 and booked well in advance.Upon arrival, a calculator was picked up and billed without any attentive greeting.The house with two or three floors does not have an elevator.We had a noisy room on the second floor towards the back of the parking spaces, which was probably less noisy than rooms facing the main street. The room was small. There was hardly any space to put your suitcase down. Even at night the heat was almost unbearable. A cooling down occurred around 3 to 4 a.m. with the windows open. One mattress was sagging. In the narrow bathroom you had to almost step over the toilet to get into the shower. Overall, you had the impression of a single room converted into a double room in the style of the 80s. The breakfast was OK. The staff was probably annoyed when several of us moved from the main breakfast room to an adjacent, quieter room. The beautiful banks of the Rhine were within walking distance.- unfortunately only one star with clearly predominant shortcomings -

A few minutes walk from the banks of the Rhine! Cozy, clean and uncomplicated! There is enough parking space, no stressful search necessary🤩 The owner is great and absolutely customer-oriented! Thank you very much. Very cheap and including breakfast, an absolute recommendation!

A small, very friendly hotel in a good location. The rooms are a bit old and our mattresses weren't very comfortable. But the friendly service and the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet made up for it.

A somewhat outdated accommodation (similar to the old inns) with a nice location 1 minute from the Rhine. Old German charm in the entrance area but the hotel itself needs more love here and there. The hotel is very popular with many anglers who can start from there in the morning.One side of the hotel faces a street with little traffic and the other faces the parking lot at the back (quieter). The size of the room is very cramped and the bathrooms clearly need renovation. The beds were a bit small for us at an estimated 1.60 cm as a double bed, but they were comfortable. Unfortunately for us guests there wasn't even free water (after a long journey this would be more hospitable). In general it can be said that the staff tried hard and The cleaning staff in particular were noticed positively because of their good work. The hotel was clean but the floor is a bit old and dusty (you can't get it out with a normal vacuum cleaner). The televisions were turned down due to noise, which is great so that it isn't too loud . Otherwise it was nice and quiet.The main door of the hotel is locked in the evening and you can enter using a key.

An outdated hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the bathroom is in need of renovation. In addition, the hotel is very noisy, ear plugs are ready to hand in the bathroom 🤣.The breakfast was very good and plentiful, so there was something for every taste.The location is perfect for exploring the Rhineland.The associated restaurant has a small seasonal menu, unfortunately nothing for children. Unfortunately we didn't like the food, when we complained the waitress only commented "I've never heard that before"... It was also impossible to order a second drink because the waitress just stopped coming 🤷🏼♀️ . The prices are simply outrageous.

This lovely hotel is getting a top to bottom restoration. As senior adults, our only complaint was a lack of comfortable seating in the room. One small armless chairmade it a little challenging. Great staff and excellent food for both breakfast and in the adjoining restaurant.
