My two sisters and I had a wonderful day in the vineyards. But we were slowly getting hungry, so we walked towards the Breidscheid winery.Unfortunately we were a little early, but then we just walked the 10 minutes to the middle of the village to cool off at the fountain and sit in the shade.When the Gutssausschank was open, we ran back up and were then allowed to sit at a table. The view is amazing and the service is super nice.You get drinks yourself and the food is then ordered. We didn't wait long and the food was really, really tasty!It was very busy but we still received great service (thanks to the idea of ​​being able to get drinks). After a while, people also sat down at our table, but all three of us found that very nice, as we also got to talk about other things.Unfortunately, we had our own glasses with us, which we bought from a vending machine (Singer and Fischer) and then forgot on the table. Since then, my sister and I have tried to call every day, both during the opening hours of the rooms, the wine bar and the wine sales, but we have not been able to reach anyone. Unfortunately, there is only one number you can call, but no one can be reached - no matter what time of day. That's really very disappointing because you can also make a reservation there and maybe want to book a room in the future? Well, then I'll write an email now 😉 It'll definitely work better!

We spent a great day at the winery, beautiful rooms with a great view of the valley.The terrace is a dream, delicious wine, delicious food. The family was super hospitable and very nice. We will be happy to come back again.

Wonderful locationThe bar is open from May to September. With small, inexpensive meals and wine from the winery. Incredibly beautiful and almost like being on holiday: the view over the Selztal.Food is brought and you get your own drinks. This works quickly.Perhaps I would also like to add that it would be an idea to think about slightly thicker padding. It's completely okay to offer beer tables and benches, but the current cushions are really very thin and a bit worn out. We were there for 3 hours, ate and drank well, but then you notice the butt...

After a very long day we came there with 5 people. We still had program items for the day. After half an hour we were able to order and after 2 HOURS it still wasn't there and we paid and left. Disaster, staff overwhelmed and no warnings about a long waiting time. We were able to forget about the program items and were in a good mood. Will never go there again. :(
