Historic, beautifully restored buildings. The whole complex exudes a lot of peace and charm, beautifully and generously designed rooms, very nice service and a great breakfast. I'd love to come back!

After years I was a guest again.The rooms are great!But the rest has lost the charm of the past.The service staff in the morning and at lunchtime were great - unfortunately you couldn't rate the rest that way. Really a shame! The food was functional.

It was my third time at Hof Sonnentau as a participant in a seminar. All rooms are very well equipped and suitable for small and larger groups. The staff is exceptionally friendly and doesn't seem at all fake. The food selection isn't huge, but what's on offer tastes great.When the weather is good you can use the beautiful and spacious outdoor area.Overall, my absolute recommendation!

Even though it's been a while, I would like to thank you very much for an exceptional stay at your hotel and share my enthusiasm. From start to finish, our stay with you exceeded all expectations. The staff deserves special recognition for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism. The breakfast buffet and lunch buffet left nothing to be desired and were a culinary experience for the palate.In summary, I can fully recommend the hotel, which makes your stay something special with its warm atmosphere and ambience. We had a three-day workshop with our team at Hof Sonnentau.I've been looking for a long time for a location where it's quiet and you can switch off for a while.I can really only recommend this, the rooms, the service and the food were just good.The whole team went home after three days and only has positive memories.I would even go there privately and just be able to switch off for a bit.So go ahead and make an impression yourself.

Great place with a solid scenery in the village of Visselhoevde.The dinner and lunch was amazing, a perfect 💯. There was no addded shampoo/bathing gel and no door to the toilet.The breakfast range can improve a bit.Overall a great stay and quite equipped for events/workshops. Recommend it.

Good evening,We ate sundew in the courtyard after our civil wedding.The location is the perfect atmosphere to end a day like this: quiet, elegant, cozy, modern and warm.When it came to food, we had complete freedom and were well advised. Our individual wishes were taken into account and implemented attentively. The taste of the food blew us and our guests away. Everything here was lovingly crafted by hand and with great skill. We will be back definitely.

In one word: "Perfect"We celebrated our wedding in Hof Sonnentau. Everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. The meal, including the outdoor kitchen, was planned with love and care and was impressive; all guests were thrilled. We booked several of the spacious rooms. The entire staff was always on hand, always well staffed and extremely friendly and in a good mood. No guest had to wait for anything. During the entire pre-planning process, the team was patient with our “extra requests” and went along with every suggestion, no matter how complex. The price of the celebration was absolutely reasonable, the entire area was reserved for our guests. The entire team and the location are brilliant. In 10 years we will celebrate our anniversary there. Thanks.

Nice venue... Very nice for special occasions. We were here on Easter Sunday with our children (4 and 5 years) for an Easter egg hunt... It was very nice and familiar. Well organized with a very pleasant service. We and our two girls felt comfortable and we would like to recommend it to others. Many thanks to the organizers

I was staying at a seminar in the conference hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was a good width for a single person.No door to the toilet bothered me. The demarcation between the room and the bathroom only with a glass tile wall. This makes the otherwise comfortably furnished room look a bit like there is an adjacent swimming pool. The food is super delicious! Great buffet. Freshly cooked.
