Nice small and clean hotel, the staff is friendly. Where I was there it was quite warm, unfortunately you can't get the heat out of the rooms, as there was no air conditioning, the second night was unfortunately not so pleasant. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel.

Update July 25, 2024Some rooms have been renovated. Beautiful bathroom with XXL tiles on the walls. It really looks very chic and modern. Breakfast buffet is also very rich. Everything is included, from fresh rolls and croissants to muesli with fruit and nuts. Everyone gets their money's worth here.However, rooms on the street are very noisy due to cars driving past. This is a bit annoying, especially in the morning.Earlier:Good rooms, nice staff. Sleep here every time I'm in ROW.There could just be more coffee for breakfast :P

Were there for breakfast. The selection was limited to the minimum. No food was added. Even after placing the empty water bottle next to the cooler, it still took 15 to 20 minutes for it to be refilled.For vegetarians there were only two types of cheese, which could be eaten with the last few rolls left.The scrambled eggs tasted really disgusting, like scrambled eggs from the Tatra pack.Charging so much money for this breakfast buffet is pretty cheeky.For the money you can conjure up a better breakfast at home.

A really great little hotel.I stayed here for 4 nights and had the room category “junior suite”From day one I was addressed by name. People noticed which milk I drink my coffee with and how I prefer to eat scrambled eggs.The room was a nice size and was cleaned daily. I had nothing to complain about. The towels were always fresh and in a condition as if they were new.The breakfast was small but nice. There was something for every taste. Even for vegans.The scrambled eggs were freshly prepared for each guest.The service was excellent! Especially the slightly older lady with short dark hair.She lives the motto “the customer is king!”She was very polite, remembered my name and what I liked to drink in the evening.The hotel has its own parking spaces where you can always find a spot.It is relatively quiet so you can sleep with the window open.The center is within walking distance.You can get to Hamburg in 45 minutes by train.It is advisable to keep the curtains in the room closed during the day, otherwise it will get a little warm in summer.I highly recommend this hotel and will come back!!

The Stadtidyll currently only offers hotel operations and the restaurant for selected events. The staff is friendly and approachable. Price performance ratio is ok. Hopefully the restaurant and kitchen will open again soon.

Highly recommended, I'm in Rotenburg for work and booked the room through the company. I'm very satisfied, I like the furnishings, coffee machine and refrigerator, large TV, even the bathroom 🛁 is nice. Parking space on the property. Very quiet, a little further down the street is the forest cemetery. Any time.

After a friendly welcome, I was blown away by the room 😁 due to a lack of alternatives, my friendly employer booked me the junior suite. Gigantic! Very tastefully decorated, clean and cozy. The hallway is equipped with a light sensor and a little gimmick is the sensor light under the bedside table, which provides soft light when you step out of bed. You can watch TV on a huge screen in comfortable armchairs or work at a sufficiently large desk. Here you will also find a tablet with extensive guest information. The bathroom is spacious and nicely furnished, clean and equipped with all sorts of useful things (toothbrush with toothpaste, razor with shaving gel, sewing kit, shower cap and hygiene set). In addition to the obligatory towels, there is also a washcloth. The shower is very large and comfortable. Now the most important thing: the bed is comfortable and has lots of pillows. There are enough sockets, a minibar and a capsule machine with delicious coffee. All in all very successful!
