On September 9th, 2023 we experienced a perfect wedding day here. For us everything was exactly as we had imagined. We celebrated with 80 people in a wonderful location and the best weather. The wedding and celebration in one place with all guests and sufficient overnight accommodation was the deciding factor for us in choosing the HeleneCamp. The wedding pavilion was lovingly decorated, the festival barn was prepared and set according to our ideas - we did the finishing touches with the table decorations ourselves. We organized the cake buffet, wedding cake and the ice cream bomb at midnight ourselves, the arrangements and the necessary cooling - everything that was necessary for this worked out perfectly.The dinner buffet was highly praised by all guests. There was something for all tastes, everything was beautifully presented and there was plenty of it - we took a lot home with us. The service staff were very friendly and on point. We celebrated until the early morning, everyone had fun and we would do it all again. Thank you for that!

Dear Helenesee team. We were able to celebrate a great wedding in a great location on August 26th. We didn't lack anything. From support at reception to preparations for the wedding venue. A big thank you also to the kitchen and all the service staff on site. Especially Crissy and Jasmin. They looked after us really well from midday until the early hours of the morning. Thanks. The rooms were clean, one more toilet for the women would have been nice.

We also recently celebrated our wedding at HeleneCamp and cannot agree with the previous reviews at all. It was the perfect day from start to finish, both for us as the bride and groom and for our guests. We were welcomed with a surprise by the camp staff, a tradition that, weather permitting, is sure to put a smile on every wedding couple's face. The hall was clean and generally just beautiful, we were a little over 80 people and had enough space for tables, a dance floor and so on. We continued with the coffee setting, we were able to enjoy a large selection of cakes and sheet cakes with the accompanying hot drink and all the guests were enthusiastic about the variety on offer. For dinner there was both a warm and cold buffet, savory and sweet, something for young and old, well priced, everyone was full and there was also something left over even though we had a lot of good eaters. The cook who conjured up everything was there for us around the clock, kept asking if everything was OK and made sure there was always enough food. Furthermore, and this should be particularly highlighted, the service staff did a great job from the time we arrived until the early hours of the morning (4:00 a.m., mind you), they were friendly and courteous, fulfilled our every wish and always had a smile on their faces had. The supply of drinks never stopped; all guests, even the hard core who stayed until the end, were continuously supplied with cold drinks. Lastly, we would like to mention the rooms that served us as a short but nice night's sleep in the guesthouse across the street. Some of the rooms don't have the most modern furnishings, but they are very clean and were prepared on time for us and our guests and there were no complaints that anything was wrong. The breakfast the next morning was sufficient and tasty. Finally, many thanks to Mrs. B., who organized our perfect day despite small initial difficulties. We really have nothing to complain about, everything was great. Many greetings from the newlyweds Otto, we recommend you.PS: Don't forget the salary increase for the employees ;D

You can say that it is a beautiful location. But that's the only thing. Rooms, so what we had, are 90s furnishings with broken fly screens and minimalist furnishings (to put it mildly) no hairdryer or soap in the bathroom. Cobwebs in the door frames. But for the price for 3 people it's like a 5 star hotel. Reception staff unfriendly. Were there for a wedding. Far too little food for the stated number of people. Some guests didn't get anything anymore. Schnapps was warm and by half past ten it was all gone. Staff slow and unfriendly. If you want to spend a lot of money for little, this is the place for you.

Were recently married there. First the positive: The location, the hall and the pavilion for the wedding are really beautiful. End... but the hall hadn't been cleaned properly. The service was little or not at all courteous (with one exception) and sometimes even rude, the buffet was about half of what should have been calculated for the stated number of guests (some guests got nothing), the drinks supply was poor Hesitantly and at a fairly early hour there was warm beer with long waiting times and certain spirits were simply out of stock. I could list more, but I don't feel like it!

A beautiful piece of earth 🌎 where you can switch off. Great service at reception and always there when you need themThe events offered are always individually designed and there is something for everyone. Despite the lake closure, a visit is always possible

I'm someone who doesn't judge things like that, but this time I have to make my dissatisfaction known.We had received a verbal confirmation and the rooms had been reserved... But the next day we received a cancellation out of the blue, supposedly because of an internal event. But I've heard this many times now that this scam has been pulled off. I have now booked accommodation somewhere else, normally the camp would have to pay me the difference.But as I see, I'm not the only one who has nothing good to say about this camp. The one star is for location, you can't give more.

The one star is only for the location. Otherwise you can say👎I think it's audacious when you first receive a confirmation for accommodation etc. and then a day later you get a rejection because of a short-term internal event... whoever believes it. 😏But what the heck, the competition doesn't sleep at Lake Helene either!

We have a great week of vacation behind us (12 children, 2 companions). The guesthouse is simply great with double rooms including a bathroom up to a gigantic apartment with 10 beds, 2 bathrooms, a modern large kitchen and a mega large living room. Everything is always very clean. So suitable for couples to large families.Outdoor facilities are very nice: various sports facilities, playground, safe campfire area, idyllic pond, lots of partially covered seating, sufficient parking.The food was of good quality and quantity. The chef was also open to special requests from the children; you just have to ask.A small drawback was the daily crossing of the street from the guesthouse to the dining room. With 12 children you have to be very careful, even though the traffic was manageable.Unfortunately the lake is closed. But we found a place to swim at the next lake. Unfortunately, due to the lake closure, there is almost no catering business; no seaside restaurants, no kiosks, no sales points. The beach sanitary facilities were still accessible and clean.Overall very good impression. Gladly again. :)

To the person below me ⬇️I can not agree with that ! Staff very friendly, tries to do everything possible to ensure that the customer is happy! Cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms was great! It was cleaned several times a day! Breakfast was perfect too! There are warm rolls, sandwiches and toast! Upon request, the staff will also toast the toast! You just have to dare to ask 😁 (different types of rolls, bread as well) There were also beans, which were of course cold because it was a bean salad!I can't judge what it's like in prison! Of course it's a long hallway, but where isn't a long hallway when there are several rooms next to each other? 🤔Floor, walls, doors, etc. everything was newly made and well prepared! It is also a “youth hostel” and not an Interhotel 😎

Just bad, hardly any warm food for breakfast, just untoasted toast and bread and for whatever reason beans but cold in our first room there were ants in the room it was our first day and of course the blame was placed on us very unfriendly people there afterwards We wanted to go on a bike tour and got yellow postal bikes from the GDR that had no gears and fell apart when we pedaled. At least they had a bell that was also broken. The corridor from the room looked like a prison corridor. The only nice thing was the Helene Lake that was closed. Oh before I forget, there weren't even bathrooms in the rooms, but shared bathrooms that you had to share with children, who were 6. The showers there have also seen better days. Please do me a favor and close this facility. I will always remember this visit Remember because it was the worst I've ever experienced It was bad I don't recommend any class even mentioning it to go there thank you

The Helenecamp is located directly (5 minutes walk) on the beautiful Helenesee. It is very quiet and close to nature.Recommended especially for families.

Actually 0 stars because they seem to be being taken for a ride there!!!You reserve a room and then ask because you don't get an answer anymore, even though you wanted to get in touch, about payment, etc., and then you get the cheeky answer that you can't get the room anymore because it's supposedly fully booked out of the blue and the colleague who booked it has been terminated.
