Very nice hotel and also very familiar. Gladly again.

The extremely friendly hostess is busy being alone. Upon arrival, the hotel was even closed and you had to contact her via the intercom. However, due to the not very good connection, she will open the hotel door for you after a few minutes. A bit strange actually. Even later, the reception is not occupied again, but you can open the front door yourself with your room key.The rooms are certainly clean and our room (#3) was above average spacious. The beds are certainly good. However, the duvet was much too warm due to the very hot day. There is no air conditioning, but there is a large table fan so it was on all night. The duvet and pillows could use some fabric softener, but that is really just a detail. It was nice that there was a candy and note on the bed. There was also a bottle of carbonated water. Other drinks were also available, but not chilled. As expected, its price was not dirt cheap. The breakfast was certainly fine. There was absolutely plenty of choice of toppings, juices, homemade jams, yoghurts and spreads. Besides eggs, there are no other hot breakfast items such as sausages or bacon. You may want to ask the day before because you have to know very well in advance what you want to have the next time because the breakfast is "customized". Coffee (a Känchen), eggs, and the number (and type) of sandwiches are all sourced and tailor-made especially for you. The dining room is tastefully and somewhat surprisingly decorated with vintage items. And we love that. Parking is also available behind the building.Take into account the fire brigade, police and Rettungsdienst near the hotel. When they go out with all their bells and whistles, you can't ignore it, of course.All in all a very special stay because of the closed door and the detailed ordering of breakfast, but I would definitely make a reservation there again.

What a charming hotel! We felt at home immediately. Personal, unique, impeccable clean and a breakfast where the personal attention to detail was second to none. A warm hearted place that was a perfect stop for us along the highway on our way south. From now on it will be our standard place everytime we pass by. Thank you! 🥰

The landlady loves what she does and you can tell that immediately. You feel warmly welcome from the first moment. Lovingly furnished and the best soft-boiled eggs ever. The rooms are big enough and the beds aren't as sagging as they often are. Family atmosphere and absolutely recommended.
