We've been going here with children for the past 5 years. It is difficult to find an apartment in Grömitz with the service it offers. 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed and two single beds. Through the garden door you can reach Aldi and Rewe in 1 minute. Rewe also has an extra large drinks market. It's 10 to 15 minutes from the apartment to the zoo, which is always very clean and family-friendly. It's also less than 10 minutes to the town center. We hardly need the car at all because Grömitz has so much to offer, whether for young or old. It's always worth a trip here. Once here and again and again.

Very hospitable reception, handing over the keys was easy. Clean atmosphere, everything you need is there. Rooms spacious, kitchen well equipped. Balcony big enough.Bakers, Rewe and Aldi once through the garden and you're there. In 3 minutes you can be in the city and maybe, at a leisurely walk, it's a maximum of 10 minutes to the beach. Everything is easy to reach. Our car is currently on break. You don't really need it here.

After I was a guest at Home by the Sea a few years ago and felt comfortable, I booked an apartment there again for the end of May 2022. Unfortunately, I had to cancel for family and health reasons. What I then experienced was an outrage. There wasn't even a reply to my email. Without comment, €30 was withheld from my deposit and only the rest was refunded. An inquiry resulted in only a succinct answer: “Please note our terms and conditions”. A recent phone call with Mr. Dreyer also failed to clarify the matter. You could tell right away that it was all too much for him and he mentioned that I could get a lawyer. He is not prepared to provide evidence showing the costs. Sure, because no costs were incurred. For what? For an email with the contract sent? This way you can also enrich yourself if guests have to cancel. I can only advise against booking under such conditions. There are plenty of other landlords who aren't so ripped off and treat their guests differently. NEVER AGAIN!!You realize again that only when something doesn't work out as planned do you really get to know the other side! 0 stars!!!

Very nice apartments. Super furnished, everything you need is there. Shopping opportunities just around the corner. Not far to the beach and a beach chair is included in every apartment.

A very nice house with a very nice manager. Kudos to Mr. Dreyer, who really takes care of everything.The only disadvantage is that the house is very noisy.The proximity to Aldi and Rewe and its drinks market are great.The beach can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.

Very clean apartment in a central location. There are private parking spaces and the supermarket is around the corner.Each apartment has its own balcony and there is also a communal garden with a small playground and a barbecue area.
