I was looking for an active farm holiday and I've come to the right place. My daughter (5 years old) is absolutely thrilled. We are allowed to contact the cows and horses at any time, participate in everyday work or simply enjoy nature. Birte is a very loving host who builds great contact with the children. My daughter really enjoyed the time on the back of the beautiful Loki and was proud to be able to ride. We say “thank you” and would be happy to come back.

My family spent a lovely week there on the farm in May 2023 (May 15-20). The horse stable holiday home has three bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor. One of the bedrooms has a bunk bed, which was great for the children. A travel cot was also on site. We were able to borrow fall protection there. on the ground floor there is a living-dining kitchen. The landlords are right next door, so if you have any questions or need help with something, you can contact them directly. The highlight: my children were allowed to help milk the cows, were able to watch a calf being born and were also allowed to feed the calves. They were allowed to drive the cows to the milking parlor because family friends were there at the same time and took my kids by the hand. On Ascension Day the cows were let out to pasture for the first time this year and we were allowed to be there too. It was a highlight for my children. When the landlord's daughters were there, we were even allowed to ride Schetto and Loki. The first time for my children. Shops can be reached nearby by car. The beach is not far away either. If you want a natural beach, the beach in Süssau is the right place. All in all a lovely holiday. Thank you dear Birte! (p.s. the description of horse breeding no longer applies, it is now purely a dairy farm)
