Lovingly run family hotel. Arriving in a friendly atmosphere, we immediately felt at home. We found the satisfaction of the employees to be very pleasant. The boss is personal, polite and very accommodating, trying to fulfill all wishes. In this beautiful hotel with a prime location, taking a break from stressful everyday life is really fun. The room offered all amenities. Very high sleeping comfort. Wonderful, lovingly prepared breakfast.

I can only be amazed at the positive reviews. When we arrived (May 2024), the room and bathroom were very dirty. The toilet smelled bad and looked like it too. I didn't dare touch the toilet brush or the plastic trash can. The hotel was taken over by a new owner on April 1st, 2024, who admitted the defects himself but did nothing at all, despite personal confrontation and showing cell phone pictures. The room was not renovated professionally and properly. Skirting boards screwed into the air, came loose from the floor, sockets come out of the wall, hairdryer dirty, mold stains on the wall, lamps mounted crookedly, cupboard doesn't close due to crooked doors, the hallway wasn't swept or cleaned for five days. There were no skirting boards in the hallway. The ventilation in the bathroom was very dirty and didn't work. The rooms were only cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths and water with a mop were not observed. I've been coming to Grömitz for many years but nothing like this has ever happened to me. In my opinion, cleanliness can also be achieved with few resources. It was really bad and the lower price is no excuse for this dilapidated condition, especially since it is not impossible to choose other providers in the same situation. I cannot recommend this hotel at all and it is not worth three stars at all. I found it particularly unfortunate that the new managing director didn't look at the defects himself, even though he was there at the hotel. Even when I left a day earlier with my companion and showed the cell phone pictures with the defects again, no compensation was offered, even though the contract had not been fulfilled for me. I'm still hoping for a relent and kl. financial compensation. I would never go there again and can't recommend it to anyone.

Very nice, small hotel near the beach with a really great breakfast. The owners and employees were all very nice, the rooms were small but clean and comfortable. We felt completely comfortable. Since we are early risers, we only wished that we could have had breakfast earlier than 8 a.m.

This year we had a very nice studio with a balcony. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the promenade and the city center. The owners/hosts are super friendly.🤗

We stayed here in the hotel for 1 week in mid-February. We felt very comfortable all around. Checking in was absolutely unproblematic and very friendly.The room was very nice, bright and clean. The bathroom, even though it is small, still has enough space for everyday things. The breakfast with its buffet, fresh and sufficient every day. The boss of the house and the entire staff, very nice and always friendly. We'd love to come back

I spent a night in the "sea breeze". When I checked in, I immediately noticed the friendly nature of the owner. He really explained everything to me well. You can rent a parking space directly at the hotel for an additional charge of €5. Definitely cheaper than in the large P2 car park, which is located behind the hotel (day ticket €13). I was absolutely satisfied with my room. It was clean and harmoniously furnished. I found the breakfast okay. There were different rolls to choose from. Scrambled eggs and much more. A bit of fruit and yoghurt would spice up the morning. Coffee was available in a pot, separately for each table. Checking out was done quickly by paying in advance on the day of arrival. Handing over the keys and saying goodbye.4 stars and gladly again :)

The rooms are overall very dirty. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned properly in ages. Dust, dirt and mold everywhere.The entire hallway wasn't even swept or vacuumed within a week. The sand and dirt lay in the same place for a week.Price performance doesn't fit here at all.

We stayed at the Hotel Seebrise at the beginning of December and what can we say: it was such a great stay! The family-run hotel impresses above all with the friendliness and warmth of the operators. We always got good advice about where to go to the Christmas market or where to eat well. The whole house is decorated in a coastal style. It doesn't have to be to everyone's taste, but the theme runs like a common thread through the entire house and therefore makes it harmonious. We slept like heaven. The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean and completely sufficient for two people. The ice skating rink, which was within walking distance, was particularly nice in December. There were beautifully decorated stalls and even live music in the evenings! We loved it and would move to the Sea Breeze again. Oh yes, the breakfast was really comprehensive for such a small hotel! We got everything we wanted and were very happy with the service. The staff here were again very friendly and accommodating. Therefore 5 stars from us in all areas!Gürgens family

Group trip from September 15th to September 22nd, 6 people. Location of the hotel was great, breakfast was ok. The cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathroom, leaves a lot to be desired. Hygiene bags and cosmetic bins are only available after several days of request. There were no cosmetic mirrors, but there were regular silver fish and the previous hair was still in the bathroom dresser. Mold in the shower and the toilet had probably been cleaned six months ago. Disgusting.Too expensive for what is offered.The price-performance ratio doesn't fit.
