The location is great. Right on the beach.Unfortunately the room wasn't that clean. There was still a lot of stuff under the bed and we also had sand on the floor from the previous ones.It's okay that the towels are only changed every 2 days. But I don't think it's a good thing that it's not vacuumed every day. You also pay more for that.The first dinner was okay and the second was a disgrace. The food was cold! Not lukewarm, but cold! We complained about it and then it was warmed up.The price is too high for that. I find it incredible to even present something like that. The breakfast was okay.

Incredibly great hotel. Clean, quiet, super nice staff. Rooms are a bit old but everything is great. Food varied and very tasty and fresh. Great for families with direct access to the swimming pool and sauna. Holidays with children are very relaxing.

First of all, the great employees should be mentioned - both at the reception and in the restaurant! Everyone is very nice and accommodating. The location of the hotel is great, second row. I think the rooms are a bit too small for three people. I'm also missing a small one Fridge in the room! In the bathroom, the shower and the toilet “share” a door - it takes some getting used to!We had booked half board, there was a good selection! I found it very pleasant that the buffet wasn't too crowded! We were divided into two groups for dinner! We had the second time (7.30 p.m. - 9 p.m.) - it was perfect Okay! However, from 7.15 p.m. there was a long queue in front of the restaurant entrance to get good seats! The hotel is apparently also very popular with the older generation - but they think they have the right of way "everywhere" due to their age! We had two couples who were there Didn't think it was necessary to line up at the end of a queue. Unfortunately, these elderly people also need a lot longer at the buffet - patience is required! But the hotel can't do anything about that! Maybe the buffet couldn't necessarily only be held in one place, so that's not the case There are long waiting times! It should be mentioned that as a hotel guest you have access to the Grömitzer Welle (swimming pool) - of course great for children! I would book the hotel again at any time and can only recommend it!

We were there for a long weekend and felt very comfortable. Since we only booked with breakfast (which is a super rich and varied buffet), we can't say anything more about the food. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rooms are fine, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The food is okay, but there is still room for improvement. But what is significantly lacking is the friendliness of the employees. The waiters can hardly get a word out and are annoyed when they don't get a tip. The employees at the reception seem extremely disinterested and listless. It was the first and last time there for me. My girlfriend was in the house two years ago and loved it, so we're going back. Unfortunately, a big deterioration.

Great hotel, with a direct location on the beach.Super friendly hotel staff and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.Unfortunately, the rooms are not quite as clean upon arrival as desired. Limescale stains on the faucet and cabin door. The toilet brush was floating in the water from the previous one. Bathrobe torn at sleeve. There is a need for action when it comes to cleanliness...

There may not be enough parking spaces in the high season (recommendation: request a parking space when reserving)Unfortunately the price is a little higher than expected + parking costs an extra €15/day

The holiday at the aja was great, everything was perfect, from the service at the reception to the restaurant and the bar, nice, friendly staff. It's a great hotel for disabled people. My husband had a stroke and is 50% in a wheelchair. The Disabled rooms are well equipped, large and in the bathroom there is a roll-in shower, raised toilet and handles to hold on to. There are also disabled toilets on the ground floor and upstairs in the restaurant.The Nivea Haus in the hotel is highly recommended. You can buy products and book treatments there (massages, facials, etc.)Super nice.But it's best to book in advance with your hotel reservation.Everything contributed to us having a wonderful week in Grömitz.We would love to come backSusann and Heinz GrotendorstP.S. Recommendation: perhaps a handicapped gallows for the bed

The location is wonderful as well as the service and the rooms... we've been to this hotel three times... unfortunately it's more expensive than it was 2 years ago but there are also fewer services, e.g. the bottle of water in the rooms and the drinks in the half board ..Too bad

A great hotel. The rooms are a very nice size and can be louder or quieter depending on the location. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also found the room to be very clean. A nice contribution is access to the Grömitzer Welle.Unfortunately, what is always negative is that the short-term parking space for check-in and check-out is often permanently used as a parking space by other guests, so you have to see how you get along when you arrive or leave. We asked reception about it and were unfortunately told there was nothing they could do about it. I can't imagine that. Unfortunately, nothing changes in this regard.Small update, when we left we found out that we had a parking space in the garage. Unfortunately, we were informed upon arrival that there was no parking space for us. In addition, there was construction noise, without any notice on the website or the arrival... There was no discount for that either. We were also informed that the loading and unloading zone can apparently also be booked. Or apparently a lot of cars park there permanently...

Hotel in a great location with 2 minutes to the beach.The glass bathroom took some getting used to. The sink and the floor tiles in the bathroom have an unsavory film of dirt on them. Something needs to be done. The toilet door was also the shower door. The bathroom was also closed with the sliding door from the closet, although unfortunately the door did not close the entire closet. There were 4 sockets in the room, only one of which was by the bed. There was just a shelf on the bed. I then grabbed the side stool from the sofa.The bed was very comfortable due to the thick mattresses. Despite being well occupied, the hotel room was quiet. Unfortunately you can look into the rooms from the restaurant and since there were only dark curtains, you felt like you were being watched.We really liked the many vegan things from cold cuts for breakfast, oat and soy milk or warm dishes for dinner. You could try out a lot of things. No small individual packaging - great. We also enjoyed taking advantage of the free coffee hour with the great view from the restaurant on the 5th floor.Among the minuses in the restaurant:Spoons always seem to be in short supply. And the staff was busy clearing up in the evenings and didn't pay attention to it. Refilling the food didn't work so well either. In the morning there was often milk, especially the plant-based variants, and bread in the evening. It might make sense to have a person behind the buffet to keep an eye on it during mealtime.We found the drink prices in the restaurant to be extortionate, for example 4 euros for a small cola or 5 euros for a carafe of tap water. But you don't have to drink anything. Waiters ask you if you want something and if you say no, they don't rush you.The prices for parking are also outrageous. 15 euros per day. A public 24-hour ticket is cheaper for 10.50 euros and can be extended on the go using the Parkster app. And it is also controlled.Bathrobe is in the room for the Grömitzer Welle, which is included free of charge. We didn't use it. Perhaps you could offer a wellness voucher as an optional option.Shops are easy to reach and the small zoo is also good.

Simply great! The aja Resort offers pure relaxation in beautiful surroundings. The spa area is great, the food is excellent, and the team is super friendly. A perfect place to switch off and leave everyday life behind. I'll definitely be back! LG also from the MCANISM team
