We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the hotel, the staff and the spa facilities. The staff and management were so kind to us and upgraded us to a suite room, which was fantastic, and also left us a little gift. It was our second visit to this hotel and this time we came here for our wedding anniversary - we really appreciate the hotel's attention and extra efforts.

A really nice hotel with lots of space, modern rooms and great service. A rich and delicious breakfast buffet guarantees a good start to the day, which you can end appropriately in the evening in the in-house restaurants and bars. The staff are very helpful, friendly and yet relaxed. We had a great stay over the holiday and would love to come back. Many thanks to the entire team!

Customer service is disgraceful! We stayed there 5 nights. After politely asking if we could check out an hour later, we were actually told: "You booked through Expedia. You will receive worse service than if you had booked directly"+ There was a welcome card with fake names in the room+ We were told parking is free. Almost €100 would then be charged on the day of departure

Basically we really liked it.The hotel is in a wonderful location and the wellness area with the saunas/steam bath and 2 heated water beds in the relaxation area invites you to relax.The water temperature in the indoor and outdoor pools could be 2 degrees warmer.The breakfast and food in the restaurants (unfortunately the seaside resort was closed) were very good.However, at O'Vino the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. We had the table at 8:00 p.m. and we received dessert shortly before 10:00 p.m. We were also not offered the water or coffee specialty that were included in our feel-good package.The staff overall was extremely friendly and accommodating.It's not a problem that the room is only cleaned every other day. It would have been nice if at least the dirty dishes had been replaced.It was also a shame that the beautiful fireplace in the lobby wasn't in use.Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our time out at the Esplanade Resort & Spa.

The room was very comfortable and the bed was the best hotel bed we have ever slept in. The room and the spa area were always clean and pleasantly warm. The towels and bathrobes provided could be changed as desired and they were always clean and soft. With one exception, the hotel staff were very hard working, always friendly and concerned about the well-being of the guests. The hotel overall is nice and recommended.There is a deduction for toilet paper. This was very rough and very thin. Furthermore, the selection of fruit and vegetables for breakfast was limited to three types of fruit. There wasn't much choice when it came to cold drinks either.3€ energy flat rate per day p.p. are a bit cheeky.

Really great hotel with lovely spa, love the steam room. Esplanade is a great recommendation at any time of the year. The breakfast is extremely rich and has everything you need. The service in this hotel is sensational, whether it's every single one at the reception, in the restaurant or at breakfast, perfect!You can still relax really well here.I/we will definitely come back!!!

Stayed here three night1. This hotel is a Customer service nightmareWater on the the toilet floor always, cleaning service is pathetic2. Was welcomed with a welcome card with wrong names kept in the room.3. Pool area locker does not work and staff fights back stating that I don’t remember the locker number. Later agreed that lockers have problems.4. Requested for one hour extension and they said since I booked through Expedia, I can not get the same level of service as for the customers who booked on their website. Never heard something like this.I paid around 240 euros/night and I think it was total waste of money.

We had a voucher\direct booker from the hotel. The service was very good. Without exception, all the employees were very friendly, communicative and helpful, whether at check-in, in the spa area or at the bar. In the Pechhütte restaurant, three employees took care of our dinner.

Positive:A stone's throw away from Berlin. Price-performance ratio of room/breakfast/spa area is okay. Sauna and spa area well thought out and modern. Good restaurants with great service and corresponding prices. On weekend evenings with entertaining live music. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, hiking and strolling. Ideal for getting out for a few days!Negative:The rooms are a bit old, which you can see especially in the bathroom where there are some mold stains that won't go away and some of the tiles and shelves were pretty battered. I was surprised by the extra items on the bill: energy flat rate (announced in advance, but couldn't €6 per day per room be integrated into the room price??) and parking space (not announced in advance, not even at check-in, we found it to be 12 euros each). Day for a parking space with no alternative is worth mentioning). A booked treatment absolutely did not meet my expectations (foot care 20 minutes shorter than advertised and without the massage described and carried out in an absolutely amateur manner) - I would not do it again. The rest already :)

A nice hotel with a nice pool and wellness area (albeit very narrow and squat).What we found to be disappointing for a 4-star hotel when checking out was that we had to pay €12 per night for the parking space.For a hotel that wants to position itself as a 4-star comfort hotel, I find this quite cheeky - especially because this was not explained during check-in when asked about the parking situation.We also found it surprising, but at least it was announced when booking that we would have to pay a flat rate electricity fee per person per night upon check-out (in addition to the tourist tax).

A nice hotel in itself - the rooms were pleasantly designed. Unfortunately it was very cold everywhere - in the corridors, the restaurants and the lobby. Unfortunately, the beautiful fireplace was not ready for use. The water temperature in the thermal pool, the pool and the whirlpool was far too low. Unfortunately, the relaxation room was also very cool and therefore not very relaxing. What has to be said, however, is that all the employees were extremely polite and courteous. You were always greeted with a friendly smile. The breakfast was ok but nothing special for a 4 star superior hotel. Since the eye also eats, it would be helpful to arrange the cheese and cold cuts nicely instead of offering them in piles on the tray. It's a shame that fresh orange juice is only available on the weekends - even if the smoked juices are very good. Here too, high praise for the service, all colleagues were very friendly and helpful. It would be nice to use fresh eggs for the omelettes instead of mixing them in (you can taste that), then the fresh ingredients and the good preparation by the employees would be shown even better.

A rather high-priced hotel. Unfortunately I was missing something special for this price. It's just small things but it's worth mentioning. Beds very hard, bathroom very small, shower drips and sprays everywhere, some of the furniture is worn out, TV is only possible if you talk to me. Service staff very friendly, location very nice.
