Camping Biej de Vogel

Great little campsite not far from Roermond, which should certainly be easily accessible by bike. Anyone who has a bike with them is in great hands here anyway.In recent years we have been traveling a lot to campsites on the Rhine and the Moselle. Of course it's very nice there, but the parking spaces there are always very narrow and it's not really quiet there either because of the road and train in the Rhine Valley - so right next to the spaces.There is pure peace and quiet here and the circular arrangement around the large tree in the middle of the campsite means there is endless space.There are a few tables arranged under the tree where you can certainly sit in the shade in the summer with a glass of wine or something else and spend the evening. Or you can grill something there. There are even 2 CEE sockets installed there for an electric grill.Otherwise, everything a camper's heart desires is available here - and everything makes a very tidy and well-kept impression. And the owners are very nice and friendly.We definitely weren't here for the last time. Now, at the end of October, it is relatively empty here, but in the high season you should probably make a reservation.And what's also worth mentioning - the whole place is made up of meadow and at this time of year, at the end of October, it's easy to get stuck there. But here all critical areas are covered with thick and stable rubber mats. That's really great.Otherwise, the journey was really relaxed, as there are no fixed reception opening times here. The front gate closes at 10 p.m. I think you should be here by then at the latest - otherwise a call to Carla and John will certainly help for those who arrive later.Many thanks to both of them for this really nice campsite with this great atmosphere. A campsite doesn't really get any better - but take your bikes with you.
