The holiday apartment is practical and comfortably furnished. We were very happy about the high chair and fall protection for our dwarf. Apart from the very worn toilet brush and the thick limescale in the toilet, everything seemed clean and well-kept. BUT - Advertising is done with holidays on the farm. The farm has a beautiful orchard with old apple trees. Unfortunately, we looked in vain for stables for horses and cows. Cattle are on the 24-hour pasture and there are no horses - although it is mentioned on the homepage. As for animals, there are a “handful” of chickens and a barn bunny. This didn't at all meet our expectations of a farm holiday, like the one we already had in the Eifel. Conclusion: beautiful holiday apartments in a rural location. If you are looking for a classic farm holiday with the smell of the stables and driving a tractor, you should go somewhere else. Unfortunately, we were disappointed because we went here with completely different expectations

Really unfriendly farmer.Blocks the whole street with his trailer and then gets cheeky too.Amazing guy. Attention, not recommended given this unfriendliness.Instead of putting his trailer aside, he continues to trim his hedge and teases the guests even more.

Very nice farm, especially for children, everything with child safety and lots of buggies. Feed chickens and horses and cows right outside the door. The owners take care of the entire family. 6 stars if possible. Price management is of course great.

Recommended with small children. The apartment is big enough for a family with 2 children. In the yard there is space to play football, a tree house, a swing, a trampoline.The facilities are simple, but completely sufficient, everything is clean. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Washing machine can be used for a fee.It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the Baltic Sea or less than 10 minutes by bike. Bicycles can be rented free of charge.

The house is comfortable and equipped with all the amenities for a family trip. 2 children's bedrooms with bunk beds and a large double bedroom. Comfortable bed. The only thing missing is a washing machine.Additional equipment includes a Finnish sauna. A revolution if you like.

A wonderful place for a family vacation with small children. The host family is very accommodating and we felt welcome. The proximity to the Baltic Sea beach is great and easy to do by bike. The other options on the farm (sandpit, rabbits, chickens, slide, tree house, cows, go-kart, trampoline, swing, seesaw) and around (equestrian center, strawberry farm, zoo) are also ideal with children.The apartment was absolutely sufficient for 4 people and a lot was available. The kitchen could have been a little more equipped for us in terms of pans and cutting boards/knives.Some things are a bit old, but everything is functional and lovingly furnished. The terrace in front of the apartment was great for outside meals. A washing machine is also available for a fee.We can highly recommend Hof Faasel!

We spent a week at the Faasel farm with our family friends. However, we were already disappointed in our expectations upon arrival. On the one hand, a terrace was advertised in the advertisement for our “Weitblick” apartment, but it was not located directly on the apartment, but in the middle of the courtyard. The apartment is on the first floor, so the terrace can only be reached via stairs (the range for the baby monitor is already a problem). The rooms do not have blackout options. Furthermore, the cleanliness is to be criticized (bathroom, doors, under the beds, children's stools, cutlery, dishwasher, etc.). And the topic of cleanliness has been mentioned in reviews on booking portals since 2018. We have small children and know what dirt means, but even that was unacceptable for us. In addition, the refrigerator didn't run cold, the grill (which was subsequently replaced) had two legs broken and posed a safety risk, and the microwave, which was temporarily placed on two pieces of wood, was also dirty underground. The equipment was not designed for a household of 4 adults and 4 (small) children. The farm offers play equipment that is getting old and a few chickens, 3 rabbits and cattle that were in the pasture. From our point of view, the wire entanglement of the rabbit hutch and the tree house posed a risk of injury. There was no real farm experience. Unfortunately, little response was given to criticism expressed about the expectations of the terrace. What's really positive is the location, basic friendliness and willingness to help. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the farm.
