Because we went on vacation spontaneously and had a dog with us.And over 8 hotels and inns refused us with the dog.I called Mr. Ammer on the phone.And I immediately had a promise that we could check in there.We would like to thank the Ammer family for the stay.It's a nice guesthouse, we were very satisfied and would come again.

A guesthouse in a rustic Bavarian style. Rooms very clean. The breakfast room and stairwell could be dusted again.Unfortunately, the extra bed or sofa was very hard. Otherwise you can spend the night here very well.Breakfast lovingly prepared, enough with everything you could wish for.Unfortunately, there is neither a guesthouse nor a restaurant, nor is there much in town so you are forced to go somewhere else. But 10 minutes further is the beautiful Chiemsee.Unfortunately we had a wasp's nest in front of the room so we couldn't ventilate it (which was particularly bad in the summer, of course). The owner couldn't do anything about it - exterminator recommended. You should try everything for the benefit of the guest. It's a shame, everyone has been very accommodating so far.

If you want to travel with two dogs, you have come to the wrong address. It's good that we asked beforehand, because the booking said "pets welcome". During the phone call, the innkeeper, who I found to be rude, barely allowed me to speak. No matter that we had never been there before, our well-behaved dogs have lived together for 5 years and we only wanted to stay overnight for 12 hours while passing through, according to the landlord, the two of them would tear up his furniture and he would then be stuck with the costs. It's a shame, we haven't experienced it like this before and it's completely incomprehensible to us.

My mom and I booked a double room here. Room was clean, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Because of the flu, we decided to leave earlier than planned and the owner was super understanding and didn't charge an extra fee for the inconvenience. We recommend. Gladly again 😊

Simple rooms with small bathrooms. Clean, functional, tidy. Friendly hosts and staff. Breakfast with scrambled eggs, vegetables, fruit, muesli, sausage and cheese. Something for everyone. Ample parking spaces.

Was there in August 2023. Very good value for money booked spontaneously over the weekend. Breakfast very nicely prepared and delicious. Also recommended with children, parking spaces right in front of the door. Friendly staff

Clean, very good beer, tasty breakfast with one ale, the frying pan in which the lady brought freshly fried bacon was a disaster, the coating was torn off, I haven't seen anything like it in a long time.

If you just want to sleep, you can definitely clean this place. If you are planning a longer stay, but only for the night, dinner and breakfast at the hotel, you can also choose this guesthouse. If you plan to spend whole days in this hotel, I do not recommend it. You can only sleep and eat here. The service was not particularly nice, as the maid waited in front of the door until we left the room. The only advantages of this guesthouse are the location and local cheese. Considering what I've seen, it's a nice guesthouse.

As soon as we arrived we didn't have any stress, parking was free and there was enough, everything went smoothly and quickly at the reception, the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. There was also a dog who was so well behaved and calm because that's how it should be some other people get a slice of it. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom, I had one with a rain shower, was just great. I was able to sleep very well in bed and had a great view from the room window (I'm attaching pictures). The breakfast was just great for the price, there was everything you need to start the day clean.

This hotel is absolutely not recommended.The rooms are completely outdated, the mattresses are worn out, it is dirty (the bathroom was full of long, black hair from the previous guest), mold on the ceilings, cracks in the walls and ceilings, there is no radiator in the bathroom, the windows are so leaky the room feels like it's on the open sea.The owner is absolutely incapable of criticism and reacted to the criticism cynically and extremely aggressively.We were offered alternatives, but they were identical.When we refused and asked to leave, the owner laughed at my wife and shouted loudly. We have never experienced anything like this before and it is an absolute outrage and an absurdity.Apparently there is no room for criticism and people with a migration background in this hotel.

I was there to eat and regret it afterwards. Apart from the fact that the grilled sausage was missing from the Bavarian delicacy platter, the rest was only mediocre at best. The bread dumpling was a bit pale, the roast pork was very dry, but the surbraten (no, not sauerbraten!) was very fatty and everything together had a rather bland taste. When I commented on the lack of grilled sausage after the meal, the very nice and attentive waiter wanted to give it to me as a second course. When I said no, I was given a small mixed ice cream (frozen product of the mediocre kind) to compensate.Why do I still give 2 stars? Because the inn itself has a nice atmosphere and the waiter was very friendly and tried to limit the damage.A little more love in the kitchen and higher quality ingredients and the shop would have real potential.
