We stayed there with our family (two children) during my work seminar. Overall, we liked it, the place has its own charm, the staff is trying, although there are not enough hands of workers. There's nowhere else to go nearby. Spending 2-4 days away from the city is very pleasant

The location is really dreamy and just the right place for a break. I've read through the reviews of the last few weeks and think it's a shame that a wedding party made such negative comments about the location. Please note that it is a century old building and cannot be compared to modern standards. I also raised the issue of the missing locks for the rooms. Even if the owners would like to set it up, the monument protection often makes it difficult for the owner. The smoldering fire that was mentioned can also happen in such an old castle. Thank you for noticing it because it would be a shame if there had been more damage. Nevertheless, I would like to briefly inform society that people work here and if 20-50 people talk badly about everything, there can be no nice celebration. And it's not the location that makes the celebration, but the guests. I've already been to a wedding where no food was delivered by the catering... it was the best celebration I've ever had... because the guests didn't complain but tried everything to make the best of it. And I think that shaming the management and speaking so badly about it in public is the worst possible thing. Sorry. I wish Wartin Castle all the best and hope there will be some nice moments ahead too.

Shamelessly rude staff!I won't go into detail... just that we have been threatened twice for no reason. It's a filthy GDR rat hole...We ended our stay prematurely and found a top hotel in nearby Stettin/Sczczecin, just across the Polish border, with very friendly staff and much cheaper, while it was a very modern and luxurious hotel.Tip: stay away from this Schloß Wartín😡🤮

I was invited to a summer party with around 50 people. Wonderful location, slightly shabby castle with a lot of charm and lots of space. A wonderful festival in the best weather. However, the staff ranged from incompetent to unfriendly and were completely overwhelmed with the hospitality and organization of 2 nights. The room was very simple, completely okay, but way too expensive at €110 per night. A simple breakfast buffet at €30 per person is also totally oversized. Conclusion: a fantastic place, but under chaotic and unprofessional management. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

I can't even put my disappointment into words. The castle is beautiful. The area is sleepy but untouched and natural. However, the ignorance and arrogance with which this castle is run is an insult. The communication is an imposition and the “lady of the castle” is the last straw with her false friendliness.I cannot recommend this location. Competence and honesty are missing at every turn here. After my evaluation I received anonymous and abusive calls in the middle of the night! The castle management is not only incompetent but also a psychological imposition and danger!

I got married at Wartin Castle last weekend.I don't even know where to start... maybe with Anna Voth. I can't even describe how incompetent this woman is who ruined my wedding if it weren't for the guests who smiled away at all the bad organization for our sake...It started with the offer, which was wrong and only came after a few months. After we received the announcement that Janine would take over the wedding, we were reassured because all the information looked professional and promised a lot. Since it worked initially, we agreed. But at the first meeting with Janine Krüger it was clear that she has no sensitivity and cannot handle this wedding. In addition, Janine Krüger was also completely clueless. So we went back to Anna Voth, who very charmingly wanted to make everything possible. We quickly realized that Anna wasn't up to the task of organizing the rooms, which is why we stepped in, organized our own tents at short notice out of our own pockets and took over the entire distribution of the guests. We booked holiday apartments for our guests, which was actually included in the offer. We did all of this for Anna, who was lazy enough not to look at this list. When we arrived on Thursday for the promised candlelight dinner and thought everything was organized for the guests' arrival, we discovered that nothing was clear yet. Since the chef apparently had to go back to Ukraine, we went to a mediocre restaurant in the area. After our return and all the grievances in the castle, my husband and I started tidying up and cleaning ourselves. It was just bad to see everything that wasn't organized... and so it happened that the guests arrived and we took over the check-in because Anna was still out all day. It was chaotic and extremely uncomfortable for us. We were stressed and couldn't receive the guests. The barbecue evening on Friday was a complete failure... the cook wasn't there... neither was Anna... then it turned out that Anna had too many rooms on the list, but they didn't even exist. Beyer House had to be evacuated because it almost burned down. The lack of food, the bad and warm wine wasn't so bad anymore... oh yes... there was no dessert at all. It was embarrassing for us as hosts!! What was ordered was something completely different. Pay too!The next day it continued the same way… breakfast was only replenished upon request. In the meantime there was no bread, no fruit from the café... I don't even need to talk about the quality of the food...I had refrigerated the crement myself in the morning for the later champagne reception...not the wine for dinner, it was just warm...The refrigerators were broken. You can't make it up.In general, the menu in the evening was completely different to what we had agreed on. There was far too little and the food was cold. Simply shameful, but by now the guests also knew that it was Anna's fault and the weather was kind to us and our guests were the best you could imagine!!!On top of all the incompetence, this woman was also rude to our guests.Did I mention there was no hot water in one house? In a bathroom in the distillery, water was coming out of the ceiling right where the lamp was... it sounds crazy.. but that's how it was...On Sunday morning Anna drove the guests back to the train station on the shuttle bus. Was driving on the country road at 170 km/h (the car was full of children and parents) and insulted our guests by saying “shut up”This wasn't all, but it gives an impression.I can't express my horror at this woman in words and I would definitely like to warn you here.Only when Anna is no longer at the castle can beautiful celebrations be celebrated there again.

Hands off this place! We went to a wedding at Wartin Castle at the weekend. I'm still in shock and can hardly describe what happened there. I can't understand at all why some people write here that this is a great place for a wedding.I have never experienced such an incompetent, completely overwhelmed management! The management constantly passed the problems on to the guests and just stressed everyone out. So on the eve of the wedding the management said "if this continues, there will be no wedding here tomorrow".A few details:- Presumptuous and personally offensive comments from management- Agreements were not kept, the agreed shuttle sometimes did not arrive at all, sometimes very late. To make up time, the lady drove across the street at excessive speed- the vegetarian menu was a disgrace. After the "meat" meal was served, we waited 30 minutes for the vegetarian meal to arrive. A mini portion of pasta from the pack with pesto. It gave the impression that it was ready-made pesto. Drinks were not chilled.- Cleanliness left a lot to be desired everywhere, including in the rooms. There was so much more, but the bottom line was an absolute inability to host an event like a wedding. The one star in the rating goes to the hard-working service staff, who were treated very harshly by the management. It's just an incredible shame, it could be so beautiful in this place!

If you want a perfectly organized celebration in this location with delicious food and all-round successful service, where you can relax and concentrate on your festive event and you want your guests to be well accommodated - the opposite could happen. I experienced a weekend there which, in my opinion, showed very clearly that the basics of professional event management, gastronomy and the hotel industry are missing at all levels. Combined with, in my opinion, a questionable tone from the management of the house. I strongly recommend that you never have to leave a review of this location here on Maps.

In my opinion, the demands of a wedding could not be met.
