We vacationed here for a week and were very satisfied with the guesthouse. Quiet yet central location. View of the mountains from the balcony. Rooms very clean, breakfast simple but everything is there and there is good beer in the fridge. Staff very nice and friendly. We recommend.

A very cozy and beautiful guesthouse!The rooms were very clean every day and the service was top! The owners and service staff are very friendly and loving and always pay attention to the well-being of the guests!The breakfast was fresh, tasty and varied, so that everyone could start the day strengthened.We would like to thank you very much for this wonderful, loving stay and would be happy to come back at any time!A clear recommendation!

A bit outdated guesthouse. The room cleaning was limited to emptying the trash can. The breakfast was very frugal. Little choice, no fresh coffee (thermos on the table!). Unfortunately no recommendation

We spent three nights here. Unfortunately we had bad luck with the mattresses. These were very saggy and soft. Turning them didn't help either. The carpet in the room wasn't very inviting, but the view of the mountains from the balcony was. Safe available in the room.Breakfast was great with a plentiful selection of bread, rolls, pretzels, croissants, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, cheese cubes, sausage, jam and fruit.There is a cooling option for your own drinks.

We stayed at the Pension Martlschuster for a week's vacation on Lake Chiemsee in July 2022. We received a very warm welcome and everything went smoothly. The guesthouse is typically Bavarian in style inside and out. The rooms are very clean and comfortably furnished. Bathrooms and beds are really great! We had a great view of the mountains and the Kampenwand from the balcony. The breakfast is wonderful and very lovingly prepared. The greeting in the morning is really warm. Great staff! In the breakfast room there is a refrigerator where you can take drinks on a trust basis and a refrigerator where you can cool your own drinks/food.There was also information about activities around Lake Chiemsee.There is a great Italian restaurant right across the street, highly recommended!There is everything you need in the town, gas station, savings bank, Volksbank, ice cream parlor, penny, snack bars, etc.Of course, Lake Chiemsee is in the immediate vicinity with many opportunities to have a good time.We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the Pension Martlschuster.

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly host family and friendly staff. Our dog was also warmly welcomed.The rooms were clean and comfortable, we had a balcony on the side facing the stream, where you couldn't see anything from the street, so we could sleep well with the window tilted or open (with fly screen).For breakfast there were fresh, crispy rolls and pretzels every day. If we wanted to have breakfast outside, it was also laid out outdoors, very nice :-) What I would have missed for the perfect breakfast was an egg. Maybe there were eggs for the early risers and we always got up too late, which was our own fault ;-)We'd love to come back!

We were warmly welcomed and had a very quiet and pleasant holiday for 4 nights. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient, when we spontaneously wanted to have breakfast outside, it was set up for us straight away, great! It was very quiet, WiFi connection was also great, parking spaces were available, there was an e-bike parking garage with enough power sockets. We would like to emphasize how friendly and courteous we were treated.

*Update*Unfortunately, on the day of departure, we had to justify our objective opinion about the breakfast served to the owner of the house in a tone and to other guests (!!!) that is in no way acceptable to a paying customer! That's why only 3 instead of 4*. If you can't take criticism, maybe you shouldn't run a guesthouse!! Thank you for the extremely bitter aftertaste at the end of what was actually a lovely holiday for us!! No empathy!!________________________________We stayed here for 4 nights and were able to relax well. Rooms equipped with everything you need. The bed was getting old but we were still able to sleep well. Very nice view of the mountains. Very nice owner and the lady at breakfast was also very friendly and accommodating. The only thing we would have liked was more variety at breakfast. Unfortunately it was always the same. A muesli or freshly cut fruit and vegetables would be nice. Or serve scrambled eggs and bread instead of rolls. 😊We can still only recommend it because Bernau is really a great place with lots of beautiful hiking trails and great restaurants!
