We went on a ten-day vacation with four people in the “Landlächeln” holiday home in August 2023 – for the first time in the Vulkaneifel – and were thrilled. The landscape is beautiful, the location of the house “in the middle of the country” is very quiet, and its furnishings really leave nothing to be desired. The whole family's unanimous verdict: the most beautiful holiday home we've ever had! Particularly noteworthy: beautiful, large living room, friendly, bright bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms with well-stocked hand and bath towel sets (included in the price), generously equipped, spacious kitchen, where you can also have a quick coffee or snack, of course Everything is spotlessly clean, plus a covered sun terrace where you can have a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The shopping opportunities on site are also very good. We were warmly welcomed and instructed by the property manager. The Floßdorf family also provided detailed tips for excursions and sights as well as a weekly newsletter about events in Jünkerath and the surrounding area. – All in all, a completely successful holiday. We'd love to come back!

Quietly located, luxuriously furnished holiday home. You will be welcomed very friendly by a "property manager" who - like the landlord himself - will immediately take care of any problems that arise.

We had a wonderful 8 day vacation in August. The house immediately welcomed us with its charm, great location and comprehensive facilities. We (6 adults and a toddler) were able to switch off from everyday life and just relax. The garden is spacious. A spacious seating area, gas grill, swing, sandpit, garden shed with toys for children and another seating area with lounge furniture invite you to relax. We will definitely come back :)

We gave ourselves a short vacation at Haus Landlächeln for Christmas. We wanted peace and quiet from everyday life and wellness. And that's what we got. The furnishings were very tasteful and there was everything your heart could desire. It was clean...so pure relaxation.The shopping options were perfect. We took the train to Trier for a day stroll. Really recommended. Look at the beautiful landscape and don't look for a parking space. We would like to come back to recharge our batteries. Thank you for the great time we had in the holiday home.

A small, fine house where you can really spend your holidays.It is clean and offers everything you would have at home.A very nice terrace with a small pond was the best thing for me, it makes grilling twice as much fun. There is also a small playground in the garden.There is definitely one from me 👍

We rented the holiday home with the whole family for the autumn holiday week - it offers plenty of space for 6 people, is modern and comfortably furnished (well-equipped kitchen, extensive collection of games and books, fireplace, etc.) and leaves nothing to be desired for a relaxing stay open. Conclusion: We were completely satisfied and would happily recommend it!

The five of us also spent a women's weekend in the beautiful Landlächeln house - something we've been doing twice a year for almost 20 years, mostly in the Eifel. We have rarely had a house as well maintained, well and thoughtfully equipped as this one - it is rare to find such large and beautiful bathrooms and especially not three in number. You are in the middle of the country and yet there are nice restaurants and shopping opportunities within walking distance. The sauna is perfect and we were able to convert the living room into a disco without any problems, it's that big. The garden is well equipped, there is no shortage of loungers, a pond or a barbecue. What more could you want? Nothing! Therefore, our unanimous opinion is: If you are looking for a nice, clean, spacious holiday home, you have come to the right place. Keep it up!

A great holiday home in the Vulkaneifel! We had a wonderful week there with the whole family (4 adults, 1 child). The house is well equipped, we didn't miss anything during the days. The garden is very lovingly designed and offers everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. What was particularly great for our son was that the farm opposite is very fond of children and we were able to go pet the animals often. There are a variety of shopping options (Aldi, Edeka, Lidl, bakery) about 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot. We would love to come back again!

Beautiful holiday home with a good location for other excursions.The caretaker of the property (neighbour/woman from the farm opposite) was very nice, always approachable, helpful and important to us because the heating was out and there was no hot water one day in the morning 😕However, she took care of it immediately and in the evening, when we returned from the trip, everything was running again, the heating engineer came immediately 👍👍👍Thanks for that!However, there are little things that we noticed, even if for others it might mean complaining on a high level:- In all bathrooms we lacked storage space for cosmetic items- the house is generally not old, but a renovation would be appropriate (new color)- The plaster is already crumbling from the ceiling in the bathroom- some are missing. fly screen- the shower is too small for us personally and the bathrooms are generally poorly lit, especially when shaving and putting on make-up.The furniture is also cheap, especially the bedroom cupboards and beds, which squeaked with every movementConclusion: We have had nicer 5 star holiday homes, so maybe we are a little spoiled, but you can really have a nice holiday there without having to forego anything.
