My parents were there at the beginning of the year. I booked for them and asked if they could put a birthday card in the room. This was implemented very lovingly. My parents really enjoyed the weekend. There was even a birthday candle for my father at breakfast. Very attentive staff. They also found the wellness area very nice. Rooms clean and modern. Thanks again to the nice staff.

We were at the monastery hotel as part of our retreat. What a great house! Staff top, very friendly, nothing is too much and everything happens with a smile. Rooms very clean, chic and comfortable. There is still a tiny bit of room for improvement when it comes to eating. Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

This hotel now has a different name: Augustinerhotel. Apparently there has also been a change of ownership. It is very well maintained and the rooms are nice, modern, clean. This hotel deserves better reviews...

Had booked the opening offer (see picture). Superior 1 double room and 1 double room for single use. Midweek.Entrance to the hotel (narrow) via the crime hotel car park, the hotel's own parking spaces. In the middle of town. Main road. Early in the morning you are woken up by church bells.6 hours before arrival, the dinner on the day of arrival that was included in our booking was canceled.Hotel bright, modern and clean inside. Staff friendly, sparse but tried hard. Our superior room was renovated, modern. The curtains in our room didn't completely darken. This was possible in the second room. Personally, the mattress was too soft for me. Room cleaning is only done every other day.Breakfast: baked rolls, little bread.Coffee, tea, espresso, etc. (fully automatic coffee machine).Sausage (a lot) and cheese (a little) 2 types of jam, 1x honey, yoghurt, cereal ingredients, some fresh fruit/vegetables. Scrambled eggs, eggs. Heat container at breakfast rather cold.Dinner: booked half-board from the offer is bad. A note was brought to the table where a starter (soup) and two dishes (pork loin steak with side dishes or salad bowl with gratinated cheese) dessert (chocolate cakes with fresh fruit, sparse). No main menu to choose from. The aperitif on offer (was not served). There is probably not always a chef present. Our spa area is not yet finished. Also for hotel guests there is an additional charge!!!Tip: Eat out at the crime hotel.

There was no bread at dinner in the evening; the chef had apparently forgotten to bake some. My friend only got the fries after 5 minutes for his rum steak. His tomato salad didn't come at allHe lived in the hotel with 5 people. Rooms were only cleaned every other dayA hotel that used to be of top standard is run down. Others in your circle of acquaintances were told by the tenant: if you don't like it, I will personally pack your suitcases and take them to the crime hotel. My brother's room wasn't cleaned. When he asked, he was told that he had to let us know when the rooms needed to be made. All a shame for the super nice hotel

Very clean and large rooms, breakfast buffet was sufficient and dining room not too crowded. The monastery hotel is close to the center. A visit to the city wall is worth it whatever the weather. We recommend.

It's sad to see how a beautiful hotel has been run down. Swimming pool / sauna used to be free - now €24 per person. Service at breakfast poor. Things aren't being refilled properly, tables aren't being cleared and the staff is running back and forth haphazardly. Of course there was a larger tour group on site, but then you have to employ more staff. Our 3rd visit was probably the last...
