Unfortunately, an overnight stay never happened. The days of overnight stay were agreed by email. But then I stood in front of closed doors several times between 1:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. My emails from 1:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. were replied to at around 4:25 p.m. saying that they had been there, but were now on the way and would be home in a few minutes.But then I was already on my way to another accommodation. Especially in Cologne you can't find new accommodation so spontaneously.There was no real apology either. Unfortunately, when I read other reviews, the landlady is not very reliable.It's a shame, the house looks very nice from the outside and the location is beautiful. I can imagine that it is a very nice accommodation in itself.

I tried to book there for a month. The first phone call was very, very nice and funny, we wanted to get back to you the next day to confirm the booking. That didn't happen, so I contacted again a few days later. Her cell phone was stolen, the son has to set up the new one, etc. She'll call me back on Thursday, she said. She didn't. So I called again a few days later, she said again that she would call me tomorrow. Who wants to guess? That didn't happen either. In my fourth - and final - call attempt it was suddenly booked for someone.If you don't want to rent for just one night, that's okay, just say so directly. Nobody needs the dance with “I’ll call you tomorrow”.

I booked the accommodation for a month and am pleased with this central location and the self-sufficient living. The accommodation is clean, a cleaner comes regularly and the bed is comfortable. There is a kitchen where you can cater for yourself. The bathroom is functional and clean. The rooms are large, even if they are a bit old, the landlady is warm and the garden is incredibly natural. I was always happy when I was allowed to stay overnight with Mrs. Rajatjurai. It was always like coming home.

The accommodation with Mrs. Rajathurai is really recommended. Even the entrance on the street is special, as you come almost directly into a small jungle before you enter the house itself. Ms. Rajathurai welcomes you very warmly. When I entered the house wet in the pouring rain, she gave me lots of towels and took care of me. The rooms are large, simple and somewhat old-fashioned but solidly furnished. The kitchen also works perfectly. As a farewell, I was even given two bottles of apple juice spritzer for my train ride back to Schwerin, if that isn't a concern! Yes, the rooms are so quiet that you can hear the birds chirping in the morning, a real treat!
