During the Orgatec trade fair, we accommodated a group of business partners from Scandinavia and Berlin in The Clouth and thus chose the right thing for everyone.At first we were a little worried about the online check-in, but everything worked so well that our guests thought it was really cool. The hotel is absolutely stylishly furnished. Large hallways, a very cool salon with access to the roof terrace.Everyone felt totally comfortable and enjoyed the peace and quiet at night. The pizzeria 485 Grad right around the corner and the cozy little restaurant Tor1 right next door were a big advantage after the trade fair days.Gladly again. An absolute insider tip for us

We had guests staying under the old operator, and they were all very satisfied. We are now about to have artists stay at the hotel again. Accordingly, I can't say anything about the actual stay yet. My rating, however, refers to the extremely friendly and targeted communication, as well as the ability of the new operators to find solutions. The problems that the change brings with it are complex in such an automated house without a reception. I think you should be a little lenient.

After a long journey, we stood in front of the hotel but couldn't get in. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach anyone at the specified telephone number.We had to relieve ourselves in a bar in the neighborhood.After a long time we were granted entry, but the day was over.Unfortunately there won't be a next time.Otherwise, Cologne is a very beautiful city and with the right hotel it can be a great experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at THE CLOUTH Hotel recently and loved my stay. I would particularly like to emphasize the extraordinary commitment of the new owner. Although the processes and structures are still being found, the owner more than compensates for this with his warm and professional manner.The hotel itself is stylishly furnished and offers excellent connections. Nippes is always worth a visit, and THE CLOUTH Hotel makes your stay there even more pleasant. I can highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit!

Unfortunately, the processes don't work at all. To check in we had to call, then wait for an employee (while we stood in the cold stairwell) before finally going to our room after a long journey. The next morning around 8, housekeeping suddenly showed up in the room, even though we were still in bed. Communication is fundamentally difficult; you can't find a phone number, no email address, no website, nothing online. We haven't received an invoice yet either. I wouldn't recommend.

I am now changing my old (critical) posting for the second time. After the operator changed, there was a lot of chaos here. Now some friends of ours have been to the hotel and have reported nothing but positive things. Everyone was thrilled with the hotel and the new operator is also very nice and friendly. Therefore now 5 stars.

I couldn't find the entrance to the hotel. Nobody was available. It's a fraud.

There was a change of operator during my stay. Some guests then stopped coming to their rooms. The underground car park is extremely expensive, there was no information anywhere about how a hotel guest could take advantage of this apparently cheaper garage price. Now I have received the hotel bill from a company in Hong Kong (I booked via booking.com) that does not show any currency or VAT. This means that as a company I cannot claim any input tax deductions. Are you crazy? The rooms are fine, mine was modern and clean.

Despite the change of ownership between the time of booking and our stay, everything went very well. We had all the instructions for our arrival by email with the contact details to be attached upon our arrival. Someone came to check-in.The rooms are very spacious, the hotel is well located, everything is very clean, we recommend!

I definitely cannot recommend this hotel. Nocturnal noise in the inner courtyard. Sleep was out of the question. Tried to reach the person responsible here several times, but without success. The cleanliness also leaves much to be desired. The bathroom felt like it wasn't cleaned at all and in my opinion the beds weren't freshly made either. All I can say is never again! I'm surprised that a place like this can even call itself a hotel!

I loved my stay here. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean, the communal area is beautiful and I was able to start my day with a rooftop yoga session (byo mat). Fab!
