The bathroom is very small and there was an unpleasant smell that came into the room. Socket was loose, TV was hanging askew on the wall. For a double room there was only 1 pillow and a towel. No parking directly from the hotel, only on the street with a parking ticket. I cannot recommend this hotel. I couldn't spend more than one night there. The price/performance ratio is not right here at all. For €79.50 without breakfast I expect a little more. I travel a lot and I know that prices have gone up, but this is too expensive for what you get in return.

From the outside it's not the ultimate place to be, but our room was very clean and really good! Mattresses, blankets and pillows very comfortable and a sufficiently large bathroom! The employee was very friendly and helpful. There is nothing to complain about for this price!!!!

The hotel is very well located. (Bus stop and shops opposite). The Rhine is in the immediate vicinity and you can find parking on the side streets. Despite the location right on the street, you don't hear any traffic at night.The hotel is above a restaurant and check-in takes place there. It's straightforward, but once the restaurant closes there's no one to contact. The rooms on the upper floor have a lot of slants, which is unfavorable for tall guests. WiFi works perfectly, TV is very small and difficult to see because it is mounted without a swivel arm. Super clean, newly renovated, bed with visitor slot, comfortable mattress. Unfortunately the sound was a bit noisy... the partying continued in two adjacent rooms until 4 a.m. in the morning. No way to inform anyone to ensure peace and quiet.

Niehler Hotel is certainly no longer an old-fashioned hotel, as we thought. The rooms had recently been renovated. Moreover, the hotel now has a delicious and good Italian restaurant. Delicious food.

The rooms are super clean and newly renovated. We felt really comfortable in there. The mattresses were also super comfortable and the bathroom was very clean..The hotel is nicely located on a quiet street. There is also a small shop nearby and you can't really have it any better.We will definitely check into the hotel again

A small, clean room. Bed with good mattress. Quiet despite being on the street. Central, close to the subway stop and bus stop directly opposite. Check-in via key safe. Price okay for Cologne. WiFi available and stable. I would have been missing a closet for more than one night. The shelf in the room was of little use and there were no hangers on the clothes rail. Small bathroom with shower and toilet. Heating worked reliably. I didn't need or test the small specialist screen TV. Desk available. Hardly any blackout, just a translucent curtain.
