Because of the positive description on the Großer Pälitzsee campsite homepage, we made our way there. We were not disappointed, the very nice operators gave us a very friendly welcome. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you. We spent three quiet and very relaxing days there. The pitches are good and, with a bit of luck, even have a lake view. The swimming lake is very clean and the small swimming area is ideal for swimming. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and are cleaned twice a day. There is a small supermarket at the reception and you can also order rolls for breakfast there. We were completely satisfied.

A beautiful campsite. The couple who run it are super nice and attentive. Everything is neat, clean and well maintained. You can only feel comfortable here. We are already looking forward to the next time. ❤️

We spent a week at this beautiful campsite in the middle of the forest by the lake! Very nice operators (Uwe and his wife) who take care of everything lovingly! There is a small kiosk there where you can buy a lot of things at reasonable prices! You can on the terrace It's also nice to sit with coffee and cake!!!But the highlight are the toilets and sanitary facilities - super clean and tip top in order - cleaned 3 times a day - it couldn't be better!!!The small beach on the lake, everything is very nice - Camping is really fun! Next year we will go there for several weeks because it is so beautiful and familiar! Such places are very rare!!! Thank you for the lovely time we had with you!!! Great campsite, super nice groundskeeper couple. Everything was tip-top clean and well maintained. The parking spaces are spacious, you don't have to depend on your neighbor. It's very quiet here.The place is remote in the forest. Public transport is non-existent. This means that if you travel by camper, you should have bicycles 🚲 with you so that you can explore the surrounding area.

A very nice and quiet campsite. Sanitary facilities sufficient and very clean. The campsite is located on the lake and there are shady and sunny places. The owners are very nice and try hard to keep everything clean and well maintained. I think the price/performance ratio is reasonable. WiFi is under construction and should be available by 2025 at the latest. O2 reception is weak (4G 2 bars) but sufficiently strong.There is a nice little beach and bread rolls in the morning. There is also a small kiosk in the reception with everything you need.In my opinion, highly recommended.IMPORTANT: Google made me drive 15km through the forest. I definitely don't recommend that. There is good access via the town of “Strasen” 😉

We spent a wonderful week at the campsite with our 2 children. The friendly groundskeeper couple were always there to help us in a friendly and helpful manner. We felt very comfortable and at home. The campsite and the sanitary building were always clean and well maintained. In addition to fresh bread rolls and fresh cakes, the reception has everything you need to feel comfortable on holiday. Thanks to the quiet location in the forest and direct access to the lake, the holiday was perfect all around. The children's entertainment and the musical evening program were also a great change. A well-maintained, beautifully located campsite. Just dear operators of Haveltouristik, the navigation sent via Google maps doesn't work at all, you should please write and upload a more detailed description yourself so that it doesn't make it so difficult for the couple who operate it, the drivers in the forest with a motorhome or caravan Calm down, some people can find it difficult to start here in this beautiful place.There is also no reference to the barrier closing times from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to be found online anywhere.

Great nature campsite. Reception is a log cabin with a large selection for shopping. Rolls/bread service. Live music and delicious Thuringian dishes from the grill. The groundskeeper couple is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.

We were there from July 22nd. - 25.7.24 with the motorhome on the site at the large Pälitzsee, a dream, both from the Hohl family, who gave us a competent and very warm welcome, and from nature. We felt like we were in paradise, swimming in the lake, running in the forest, canoeing...all great. We'd love to come back.

Wow, what a wonderful campsite.Friendly welcome, the campsite manager himself walks to the pitch. We are on e3, with a view of the lake, it couldn't be more beautiful. Our original 3 nights turned into 6. The pitches are spacious and offer a lot of privacy.Every morning I go swimming in the lake, the water is at least 20 degrees!There are many 'Dauercamper' at this campsite, who are very friendly to short-stayers.The toilet building is cleaned regularly. Showering is with a SEP key. The shop on the campsite is fairly extensive.There is a large playing field with equipment for the small children. There is, fortunately, no animation. You don't need that here either.You can swim at the small sandy beach, FKK swimming is also allowed here. Many campers start their day with a swim. The campsite is very quiet and pleasant. Please note that Mittagruhe is also open here from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the barrier is closed then.Price/quality is excellent.All in all a very good campsite!Oh yes, if you navigate with Google Maps, be careful: on the road from Pelzkuhl to the campsite there is a campsite sign on the right, follow that! (Google will send you straight into the woods, don't do that)

Dear Marlies, dear UweWe travel a lot in our motorhome but have rarely been welcomed as warmly as we were here.The parking space is ingenious and spacious.Last night you had a barbecue with live music and then Mario showed up with the ice cream truck.More is not possible. The campsite is very nice, we had a nice pitch with a direct view of the lake, the 13 days went by quickly.The sanitary facilities are well maintained, but what I would definitely like to highlight is the couple who run the place, the souls of the place, very friendly, helpful and always in a good mood,and if problems arise, the offer of help comes immediately. A campsite in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The parking spaces are not in a row, but rather fit loosely into the terrain. The kiosk is well stocked and offers more than just basic needs. The sanitary facilities are constantly kept clean, as is the entire campsite.A special plus is the friendly, helpful and courteous groundskeeper couple.

We have been guests at the campsite for several years. Despite the fact that it has always been very nice, we were pleasantly surprised this year because there was a noticeable upgrade. The idyllic and cozy place is very close to nature and quiet, perfect for a break. The new managers are extremely accommodating, friendly and customer oriented. Overall, as always, a very nice experience.
