We stayed in one of the holiday homes on Labussee for a week in August. The location of the whole complex is perfect. Paddling, cycling, swimming, jogging, etc. all of this is possible in the surrounding area. The food and service in the “Scheune” restaurant are exceptionally good. Unfortunately, we were anything but enthusiastic about the wooden house. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The interior has also been heavily rocked now. The dishes, glasses and cutlery are all randomly thrown together. A dishwasher is missing. WiFi no longer worked in house 1 due to the distance to the antenna. For 950 euros a week, such a house is simply too expensive. We expected more. The CEO René responded to our criticism very understandingly and asked for a discount of 90 euros. He promised to improve the quality of cleanliness. It will certainly be difficult to get a cleaning crew for so many beds in this rural area. Of course you want to keep them. You definitely have to compromise on quality. By chance we ended up on the holiday island of Tietzowsee by bike. A similar, simply furnished house (Finnhütte or bungalow) simply costs 400 euros less. That made us very suspicious. Nevertheless, the Biber Ferienhof is a recommendation. We would just rather come back with a camper or tent.

We were here at the Biber campsite with our youth group (youth fire brigade) at the end of June. The staff was super friendly and always helpful. The space and the sanitary facilities were always clean and the canoe rental also ran smoothly. We really felt like we were in good hands here and the contact with our tent neighbors was always very friendly. The ability to sit comfortably around a campfire almost anywhere is great.

We were there for dinner and it was world class. The slightly increased waiting times are absolutely justified given this quality. The staff is confident and friendly. I can recommend everyone to take a look there.

Navh 6 years an update. We always came here for a raft tour lasting several days. The rafts are totally run down. The condition is terrible. Lots of defects (pontoon with a hole, wood all around demolished, everything wobbly, bent, extremely dirty). When we picked it up, one plate was undercounted; when it was handed over, the missing one cost €4. Usury. Final cleaning €25, but everything was dirty. Money-making, dead cow continues to be milked...Old review from 2018:Very suitable as a starting point for a raft tour. However, you have to overcome a few meters of altitude when transporting your luggage. But there are worse places...I wasn't here for an overnight stay. Only for picking up and dropping off a raft.

Too many youth groups, whether fire brigade, anglers, boy scouts (more than 30 young people!) or entire school classes. They are just loud, until late at night, littering the place, blocking the bathing areas with their tents, and having techno parties. Everything without consideration! That's really no fun. It's getting worse every year. I guess I'll have to find something else!

Beautiful campsite in a fantastic location. The well-equipped farm shop is great, where you can also get organic beef from our own farm. Points are deducted for the long walk to the few toilets and the unfriendly and incredibly slow staff at the reception/shop counter.

It's easy to land from the canal and we quickly found a nice green campsite. In the morning there are tons of wonderfully delicious rolls in the farm shop, and you can buy everything you need there, including camping gas. The organic food is expensive, but the quality is great. Unfortunately, the WiFi here costs ~15€/GB - a fantasy price that is off-putting. When we were there it was very loud and loud bass from the in-house event could be heard over the square well into the night. We still slept well with earplugs. If you're willing to walk a bit, you'll find sanitary facilities in good condition, although one shower was broken and the shower coin was gone. The compost toilets that are also available are easily accessible and clean.

Absolutely overpriced farm shop, only for organic/eco friends. A normal roll costs 89 cents. Rooms rustically furnished, couch uncomfortable and worn out, beds creaky. Play area in the main house dirty and untidy.The staff doesn't say hello and some of them are unfriendly.

Dear beavers,We were recently able to spend a few days with you in the shepherd's wagon. It was an exciting time and we were super lucky with the weather so we were able to spend a great short vacation with you. The concept is coherent and the audience is very relaxed.Despite all this, we would like to raise two points of criticism that we were somewhat dissatisfied with:1. When we were in the shepherd's wagon, out of 10 wagons, 8 were occupied by couples who were friends. That's perfectly fine. However, the kitchen, seating and the refrigerator were occupied by around 20 people. If we put something in the fridge, it would eventually end up on their dining table. They took up an incredible amount of space that pushed us back. We spoke to them and also to you. It is clear to me that you could not offer us an alternative option. Maybe you need to be a little more attentive when making bookings like this, because it was a bit difficult for us.2. Second and last point: The place was already well attended. However, the hygiene in the sanitary facilities could be improved. We are experienced campers and have seen a lot, so we feel the need to bring this up.Otherwise, keep it up! Great kiosk with a wide range. The restaurant is absolutely recommended.Best regards

We have been coming here for years and love the flair and flow on the farm. There should be something for everyone. We particularly enjoy the cocktail evenings, live music and cinema at Biberbeach. But above all we love the peace and the proximity to Lake Labussee. Thanks to the two “Oberbiber” for creating this great place.

Beautiful piece of nature. Invites you to relax and just let your mind wander. The staff is friendly and absolutely competent. The farm shop has very good organic products in its range. Toilet and shower clean. You'll find lots of nice people to talk to at the campsite and it can happen that really good friendships develop from this. Thank you, Biberhof and crew, for the great time that I was able to spend with you and hopefully permanently. Keep it up and see you soon Slik
