It's just a nature campsite with rustic paths and pitches. The operator is super nice and, although old, the sanitary facilities are clean. Beautiful view of the lake.What we didn't like at all was the pub. Not clean and not maintained. Neither the salt and pepper shakers on the tables nor the terrace were clean, which is why we refrained from eating.

Nature camping by the lake. You can walk a bit and take the boat around the lake. There is a small swimming beach a short distance away.

I spent 2 nights here on the way through, it could have been longer. Small terraced area, dogs welcome. I had a nice area with a view of the lake. A restaurant is on site. I think the price/performance is really great. Sanitary facilities are ok/clean.

Old sanitary facilities, prices very overpriced.Unfortunately only for boat lovers, as there is a slipway, not for motorhomes, very narrow spaces, no thanks, not for us.We won't be coming back 😔

We went camping for the first time and had a mobile home for 5 days. The short vacation was simply great. My son and I felt very comfortable from minute 1. The staff was very nice and always had an ear and a solution. The location and surroundings are simply wonderful. Many thanks to the Schwake family for everything.

We were at the campsite for two days. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a very nice parking space with a view of Lake Ratzeburg.A night with two adults in a motorhome cost us €23 in the high season. But everything is included in the price: electricity, supplies and disposal, water on site, showers and use of the toilet. This is absolutely great compared to many campsites. Some of the places are laid out like terraces. There is a bread roll service. I can't comment on the restaurant because we didn't use it.There is a small beach and it slowly goes deeper into the lake. The water quality was good.We walked to Ratzeburg, which is 7.5 km. We then went back on a boat trip to Buchholz.The bus connection is a little too far away (our feeling).Overall, this place is worth recommending.

Today I tried to get a spot at this campsite. Unfortunately the reception was closed for another hour. Looking through the gate and the condition of the access road I decided to turn around. The first impression was not good unfortunately. Perhaps it is a great campsite.

Beautiful and quiet place right on Lake Ratzeburg. Very friendly and helpful staff. The lake access is right on the site with a swimming area and jetty. Boat rental of paddle and sailing boats possible directly adjacent. Clean sanitary facilities.The only point of criticism is the lack of on-site shopping for daily needs.

The pitches are very nice, the gradient is a challenge.The toilets could perhaps smell a little less like what they were used for.There is a car charging station.With a wheelchair it could be difficult at times due to the gradient.The operator is very helpful and also lends a hand.

stayed for one night on a hiking tour and had good accommodation here. The campsite was a bit small for our tent, but everything else was great. We were able to check in very late and the sanitary facilities were pleasantly clean.The access to the lake is of course great.

A very nice little campsiteEverything clean and natural. With access to the lake.We had a pitch with tall trees, so we also had shade.From there you can go on bike tours, boat tours or a city trip to Lübeck or Schwerin
