Hello, I ate there with my girlfriend, it was just great, I can tell you that, whether it was the Schäuferle or the roast, it was really great without overdoing it, but in any case we'll be back, oh and it's still great German food, delicious and nice great atmosphere people come over convince yourself I'm planning on coming back on Sunday...

Quite a nice and very friendly restaurant that manages to cope with the modern day unexpected issues.Had a very tasty duck dish and was also rather impressed with the puddings.Enjoyed their beer selection too!

You can do it, you don't have to....everyone is a bit overwhelmed...and fois gras should finally be taken off the menu...something like that is a no go for me..

Nice, traditional Franconian restaurant.We were here with a lot of people and, despite the restaurant being full, the service tried very hard to make everyone feel comfortable.The food was down-to-earth and tasty, although not outstanding.All in all, we had a very pleasant evening here and I can definitely recommend the place.

Nice quaint restaurant with terrible service. We went there for lunch last weekend and it was amazing how long you had to wait in an empty restaurant for a few drinks, let alone the food. Unfortunately, the Schäufele and the duck were dry, if not rock hard in parts. Given the waiting time (over an hour), we didn't have it returned and ate what we could eat without having to make a dentist appointment. The operation felt constantly overwhelmed during all sub-disciplines of their work! I have never experienced such incompetence! In summary, the visit to the bear was an attempt that backfired.

Everything was good when booking: friendly receptionist. Unfortunately, I had a nightmare here. The fact that the hotel is run down and, for example, the windows in the hallway have been waiting for a coat of paint for many years and haven't been cleaned for a very, very long time wasn't that bad. But when I arrived here at 5:30 p.m. and opened the room key that was already in the door, all I saw was chaos and dirt. The room wasn't cleaned yet. I complained and was told to leave again as the room was still being cleaned. I waited outside the door until the room was "ready": apart from trash and dirty bed linen, nothing was done! At 6:45 p.m. I still “moved in”. I was tired. The dirty bath towel from the previous tenant was still in the room (until I left!). After this long day I wanted to take a shower. I knew that the shower and toilet were in the hallway. However, there is exactly ONE sink that is accessible and it is in your own room! The shared bathroom is one floor below and contains 1 shower cubicle, 1 bathtub, 1 mirror with shelf (at least). No hooks or places to put your things, except on the (wet) floor. The fact that it gets wet at all is nothing short of a miracle: the little water that comes out of the shower (both shower and bathtub) is cold. After 5-6 minutes it was just lukewarm. A refreshment on a hot day.

I like this inn and also the people who do everything they can to make sure you enjoy it and feel comfortable. A family environment with a feel-good factor and delicious food! We always enjoy coming back there. :)
