Actually a great hotel. Unfortunately, and this is why points are deducted, it is getting a bit old. The rooms we had were clean but felt like they were from the early 90s and could really be renovated. It was also a shame that the restaurant closed at 10 p.m. As a traveler you would like to have a nightcap... Unfortunately there is nothing else to offer in the area, so the only option is to take a taxi to the city center.The breakfast was very extensive and tasty.

Furniture in the pink building is from the early 80s at best, shower rail broken, narrow single bed with 2 bad spring mattresses on top of each other. Chaotic reservation, no possibility to park bicycles securely. Breakfast simple but ok and inexpensive.

Room was small but nice, clean. Mattress is very soft and comfortable. Pillows are good. Breakfast is sufficient and tastes good. Great for a two night stay. Price performance fits. Staff friendly.

Nice hotel, centrally located. The dishes in the restaurant are very tasty.It was a good time again, unfortunately far too short! We will be back!

It lays at the end of a historically interesting street, with houses that date back to the 14th century (and info signs on each house and for what it was used for over the centuries). Very beautiful little nitch of Erlangen. The small beer garden was full and has a little playground for kids and lays on the edge of a water channel, so you have a nice view of the river and the fields behind it. The hotel itself has been in the hands of the family since the 19th century. But, it does have a lot of traffic going over the bridge/highway that lays directly on the beer garden. My room interior was very basic, which made me want to be out and about until time to sleep... which is how I learned how awesome that neighborhood is behind it. The view was nice from the back window of my room.
