We were the only campers during our three-day stay in October and had the pitch all to ourselves. Plus the remote location away from the noisy Rhine Valley... absolute peace. The children were able to move freely around the farm, were allowed to help in the horse stables and quickly made contact with the children of the families in the holiday homes.Electricity, toilet, cold water, gray water and toilet disposal available. No shower, no sink area. Instead, pony rides and homemade jam.

Very nice location, above St. Goar. The approach is via a very steep mountain road up the mountain. Attention: 3.20m chunk height! Great view of the Loreley. Perfect in nature. Gladly again.

If you want to slow down here, this is the right place for you. We had a beautiful parking space with our motorhome with a gigantic view. In the morning you can hear the rooster around the corner, and every now and then the farm cat or one of the farm dogs comes by for a chat. Here you have disposal, garbage, fresh water and a toilet, and there is even electricity if you wish. We were very excited and would come back here at any time.

Wonderfully simple with the farmer's wife. 20,- including electricity. 16 places and various houses. 1 toilet! No showers. Problems with mosquitoes (a thunderstorm is approaching). Max height at bridge from the valley: 3.20m.

Nice place to relax and unwind, the accommodations are practical, the time with Mrs. Pabst and her husband taught us a lot about horses, my friend's daughter has a lot of fun with the horses here and was even allowed to play a little Helping is a priceless experience. We have been here 4 times so far and are always happy. Thank you for everything

A beautiful place directly on the Rhine. The town isn't much, no terraces open or anything.

The most important thing first:We had a great stay!I would like to make the greatest effort with this review for two reasons:1. The Pabst family deserves a decent review.2. Travelers should know exactly what to expect here.I have a lot of experience with hotels, holiday parks, holiday apartments and book them on a variety of platforms.I came across the Pabst family holiday farm through a Google search and was redirected to the farm's website. In my opinion, the website is the Pabst family's biggest problem. It creates false expectations for me as the booker. I wanted to do this trip for my two children, especially my younger son. He was very happy to do all the things that were mentioned on the homepage. No matter whether milking goats, walking ponies or helping out in the stable. We stayed over a weekend and arrived late Friday afternoon. After we got a little lost, Ms. Pabst greeted us. There was very little information about the procedure, Ms. Pabst was rather rude. I didn't feel quite as welcome. But everyone might have a bad day.First we lit the fireplace. Urgently necessary as the hut was not preheated. The water was cold, but a touch of the boiler fixed it. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to make a quick coffee because the dishes had simply been put on the shelf by the previous tenant. So first I washed a few cups and plates that we will need during our stay. I left the rest dirty on the shelf (sorry!).The next morning I thought a little about what the situation actually was. The Pabst couple seem to run this farm completely alone in their old age. You have to acknowledge that with envy! That's a real achievement! You can't expect that Mr. and Mrs. Pabst will be able to do everything, such as the above, that you might have imagined for your child. And here I come back to the website. You could portray the farm exactly as it is. It's a farm. Point. It's not a farm with children's entertainment. They are hard-working farmers, with a lot of animals, with a love of home-made products and also run a few holiday homes and parking spaces for mobile homes.Dear bookers! If you expect animation and full integration of your child into the activities of a farm, then you are unfortunately in the wrong place. But if you are looking for a holiday (whether short or long) that offers you peace and insight into a traditional farm, then you have come to the right place. The houses have a great charm. The wood creaks everywhere, the burning of the fireplace makes it very homely.Don't you like spiders and other creepy crawlies? Then you are in the wrong place.Do you love hearing the rooster in the morning? Then you've come to the right place! Would you like to have a top starting point for hikes? Then you are exactly right here! Please be sure to accept this farm for what it is. A farm and not a holiday resort.Vacation can only be as beautiful as you make it beautiful for yourself.I would come back here again, but would definitely recommend that the Pabst family revise the homepage when there is time for it.Thank you very much for this great time on your farm, the Pabst family. And thank you for the great products (jam...wild boar bratwurst...).Best regardsMano Röhr
