The cafe naturally offers a wonderful ambience with its terrace right on the lake. The prices are moderate, but the cakes taste really great. The service was - very untypical for the cafes right on the lake - incredibly friendly!!

I can't fully share your enthusiasm.The service was a bit overwhelmed.The onion cake is good, but the plum cake is unfortunately a tasteless total failure.

Finding a good restaurant by the lake is really difficult, you often only pay for the view and the quality of the food is comparable to that of a snack bar. Here, however, everything was done right. The service was friendly and accommodating and the food was fresh and very tasty! We'd love to come back.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service in your restaurant on September 1st, 2024. After a long wait, one of the blonde service ladies with glasses called out to us: “I have no idea if there is a free table” and continued walking. This statement was not only rude but also very unprofessional. One person in our family is not allowed to eat sugar, which is why we ordered a salad without dressing but with vinegar and oil. We were ready to turn this one on ourselves. Unfortunately the salad came with normal dressing, which we immediately addressed. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for our order to be corrected.The highlight, however, was the reaction of the second blonde lady who brought my mother the vinegar and said in a disrespectful tone: “We currently employ 5 people here. If we had such special requests again, we should bring our own things.” This statement was not only inappropriate, but also completely unacceptable. All we wanted was a dry salad with vinegar and oil served separately - a request that has been easily fulfilled in every other restaurant so far.Because of these experiences, we are very disappointed and will not visit your restaurant again in the future. We hope that you take this feedback seriously and work to improve your service.

In Bodman, Cafe Hasler is an ideal place to escape the stress of everyday life and enjoy your vacation in the separate, small hotel building. Of course, you should be aware that the costs for the extremely delicious food and drinks have also increased noticeably in the Hasler (raw materials, energy, 19% VAT...) As far as the rooms are concerned, they are not "high-end" but always kept clean and from our experience we can say that it is difficult to find comparable accommodation on Lake Constance where the price performance ratio is so good, especially since the location, right on the lake, is simply unique! If the town of Bodman is too quiet and the great lake promenade is too short for you, we recommend the beautiful Überlingen, which is only a few kilometers away. By the way, we can only agree with the positive reviews.

Small hotel directly on the banks of Lake Überlingen (Lake Constance) with a large terrace facing the lake. Clean rooms, some with a direct view of the water. Extensive breakfast buffet. Friendly service.In addition to tarts and cakes, Café Hasler also offers extremely tasty dishes for lunch and dinner.Reservations in the restaurant and on the terrace facing the lake are strongly recommended.

We were here for lunch and have been regular restaurant/café guests for years.The quality is consistently high and the service is very friendly and professional - even when it gets busier.The location is fantastic right on the lake and with great large umbrellas it's nice to be in the shade even in midsummer.Today I had a large salad with fish fillets. Super tasty and everything very fresh. The bread dumplings with chanterelles and other salads also met with nothing but praise at our table.The tarts and cakes are always very tasty. Of course the prices are a little higher, but for the quality and the location, in my opinion (and in comparison with big cities and/or other tourist places) it is still a fair price-performance ratio
