We learned to appreciate the hotel before and after a Rheinsteig hike over several days. It was by far the best accommodation, the best hotel we had. A decent breakfast buffet is offered, the only thing missing is an evening restaurant in the house.

We were on the Rheinsteig and only stayed in the hotel for one night. Everything was clean and in order, the WiFi was free and in order. The breakfast buffet was extensive, the staff was very friendly.

We were guests at the school building for a weekend with a hiking group. The flair is really unique and very successful. Many little things play with the idea of a “hotel in a school building” in a charming way.The rooms are very spacious, bright, quiet, clean and cozy. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Really fresh and delicious rolls from the local baker, fresh sausage from the butcher "next door". Fruit salad finely portioned in Weck glasses. The idea of sustainability is implemented very consistently but unobtrusively.Taking a packed lunch with you is very practical and uncomplicated. Other hotels sometimes have a hard time with this!We also liked the opportunity to have a drink in the beautiful winter garden on a trust basis. The team was very friendly. Advice and service are really important at breakfast. All I can say is that even as a teacher you can still feel comfortable in the school building on the weekend. And there is a certificate too!

We stayed at this hotel on night two of a recent walking holiday along the Rhein. ||Avoid this hotel and choose other places that are far more welcoming (such as Fetz Das Loreley which is superb and a real gem). …

As far as the cancellation conditions and the handling of cancellations due to illness are concerned, I have never encountered this in more than 100 different group trips/conferences that I have organized in about 25 …

Nice hotel without a restaurant, good breakfast, nice rooms, just changing towels and emptying trash cans should be included in the price of a room like this without asking, otherwise top

We were very disappointed with how we were treated at the hotel. Reception staff were very unwelcoming and unhelpful. We were made to feel like 2nd class citizens because we had our (very well behaved) dog with us. …
