Unfortunately not recommended! Were on site 10/18/24. Booked a double room via Expedia - unfortunately no one could be reached by phone in advance - you had to check in at the restaurant on site (thank God we were there when the restaurant was opening). We were then told we had only booked 1 single room and that payment in cash was only possible in advance. Booking confirmation said something different.Communication was very difficult because the staff spoke neither German nor English. After 20 minutes of difficult communication, they apparently still had a double room for us. Room was ok. Cleanliness can be improved.Just put your room card on a cupboard in the hallway in the morning - also very questionable 🤨You couldn't look for parking spaces and breakfast wasn't offered either.

Attention: I was there on October 10th, 2024 - absolute disaster!Hotel not reachable in advance, tried for 14 days. Late arrival, but because no one was available for days, I couldn't get in (no one there after 11 p.m.) and spontaneously had to stay somewhere else for the first night I had booked.The next day there was disillusionment - the owner and employees were completely Asian and didn't speak German, so I was able to save myself my complaint...(Only one employee on site, lying asleep on a table in the restaurant)Room dirty and no remote control available… overall a horror experience! Never again !Gasthaus zu Krone - the name is a joke as it is a Korean nightmare!

Unfortunately a straight 6!!I'm really sorry for the efforts of the staff, but this can no longer be corrected.Check-in: Where? We are standing in a restaurant between outstanding bills and a loveless counter with a salmon on it. Check in not possible because the system doesn't work...After an hour we finally had our room tickets.... BUT:Advertised parking spaces.......Where?!!!!Bookable breakfast... Where?!!!We come from a customer appointment at 12:20 a.m. and are standing in front of our rooms without access authorization... after more than half an hour they finally got a "master key" and were able to let us into our room.Sorry, I don't expect the high end for my business trips. Just reliability, a room and sleep...Unfortunately that was a failure!!!!

But we had already waited 30 minutes because everything in the restaurant was open but no one could be found :-(They said with Google Translate: “Manager not there, no idea”Restaurant staff - young woman and man - spoke no English or German. Two people arriving suffered the same fateThen we got two single rooms instead of double rooms at no extra charge. It wasn't intentional but it was still ok. With a glass of wine in the room we were moved to a double room. At night after the concert another couple stood and wanted to go into our room and didn't know anything about the exchange. Looking for their suitcases. Then the restaurant staff helped. Then the guests came to us because their cell phone and wallet were in the double room safe.When we left today there was no compartment to store the room card.Bathing amateur was almost impossible to open because it was calcified. The strainer insert was also missing from the faucetThe toilet seat was completely torn through at the top right.Conclusion: Rooms newly renovated. Actually a good impression. But the organization is far from a Central European standard.If the organization were better, 3-4 would still be ok

We had 2 different bookings for a total of 3 days at this hotel. We chose the hotel because, according to the internet, it offers both on-site parking and breakfast. Unfortunately, it turned out that there was neither parking nor breakfast. The staff, who spoke neither German nor English, confirmed to us several times that we could keep the same hotel room for the 3 days. When we came back to our room last night after a party, all of our things had been removed and the room had already been prepared for the next guests. We found a sleeping employee in the restaurant who also didn't understand German and had to contact 3 other employees who spoke more or less German or English. Our belongings were stored in a small room while we were away and we were told that we did not have a reservation and that the hotel was full (despite written confirmation from March and July 2024 and verbal confirmation from the staff). So we had to leave at 1am Looking for new accommodation. You can't maintain a hotel in Germany if you can't communicate adequately in German or English and don't understand the booking systems. A very unprofessional treatment of guests, which certainly doesn't mean a positive review.The employees definitely do not have sufficient language skills to run a hotel in Germany.

Found this hotel while passing through. Rarely do I write a negative review. Employees are very unfriendly, curt. I even take the drink off the table again when it turns out that I no longer have any cash to pay because it is not possible to pay by card. It is not even possible to take a bottle of water to the room on account. The room is filthy and appears not to have been cleaned.

Only bad!Very dirty, no one welcomed us. Only from restaurants who unfortunately didn't understand us.The bed was dirty, spiders on the walls, the toilet seat was broken!Never never never again!!

We spent the long weekend from May 30th, 2024 to June 2nd, 2024 in the Krone with a total of five people. The rooms were reserved by telephone on March 19, 2024. A reservation confirmation by email was only sent upon request on March 25, 2024. When we made the reservation by telephone, we were assured that our bicycles could be safely stored in a room in the hotel.Two days before arrival, the reservation confirmation dated March 25, 2024 was sent again. Everything is fine, we thought.Due to the weather, our three friends arrived by car and were therefore at the hotel earlier. Neither the restaurant staff present had any knowledge of the reservation nor were the rooms prepared accordingly. Cash payment was also expected in advance. This was neither announced nor agreed upon.In addition, the numerous restaurant staff present saw no possibility of storing our two bicycles in one room in the house. To do this, another hotel employee had to come from outside, but he didn't show up. Instead, we were given a makeshift long steel cable with a padlock, which is normally used to secure the outside seating. At least we were able to park and secure our bikes in the beer garden area with it and our own locks. Very friendly from the young waitress, but actually not what we had imagined.Due to a construction site near the hotel, parking options for cars are currently limited. The restaurant staff couldn't give our friends a recommendation for cheap parking options nearby.When we returned to the hotel on the second day - now with enough cash to pay the bills - to our surprise and annoyance, our key cards were blocked. Reason: we haven't paid yet. No one from the restaurant staff could activate our cards or accept payment for the rooms. The employee who didn't show up the day before was supposed to come again. This time he came after about 30 minutes. We spent the waiting time having a drink and discussing the ingredients of cocktails.As a result, after the employee arrived, the bills were paid in cash and the bicycles were now stored in a storage room at the house. The invoice was issued upon express request - and sent by email.
