We found out about you through our wedding planner and immediately fell in love with the Scherauer Hof upon first viewing! We were simply thrilled by the location itself as well as the new, modern rooms and the nature. The collaboration and communication with Helga and Johanna always worked smoothly via our wedding planner. Our wedding on August 3rd was more than just perfect for us. Huge praise to you and the entire service team, you did such a great job and were always reliable, attentive and friendly. Thank you so much for allowing us to celebrate our big day with you ❤️. In addition, a masterful kitchen performance from the tarte flambée reception to the main courses and the desserts. We celebrated our wedding with a free wedding ceremony at the Scherauer Hof. When we looked at the location for the first time, we were immediately enchanted. We also felt very comfortable, which is also due to the great owners, the Bock family!The planning already went smoothly and very cordially. A special thank you goes especially to Johanna. We were able to contact them at any time with questions or open issues and received immediate feedback.Our celebration itself and the day were, in short, simply perfect! From the location to the champagne reception with delicious tarte flambée to the drinks, everything was great. What is particularly noteworthy, however, is the service with the great service staff. Something like that is no longer a given these days and it was excellent. Thank you very much again for this! 😊Our guests also felt very comfortable. After the wedding we only received positive feedback about the location and the service.We can highly recommend the Scherauer Hof to anyone looking for a location. 😊

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Scherauer Hof on the way to our Pentecost holiday.Everything really worked and we were completely thrilled by the great concept behind it.The farm complex is absolutely quiet and idyllic in nature and surrounded by ponds and yet not far from the nearest town (restaurants can also be reached in a few minutes by car).The large rooms have been renovated to a high standard, modern and true to style. The bathroom is spacious and modern.The breakfast exceeded all of our expectations: freshly baked rolls and bread from our own bakery, our own jams, homemade yoghurt, mueslis, sausage and cheese and so on. Nothing was left to be desired!The farm shop is also worth a visit.The staff is very attentive and friendly.Add to that the extremely friendly and professional contact with the owner - it couldn't be better!We will definitely come back and stay longer than just one night!Congratulations on such a business!

Great place to rest, not far from the highwayVery friendly welcoming. "Minibar" is in fact maxibar - besides of good variety of drinks you can heat locally made dishes, mainly soups. That's a great idea! Nice place to rest in silence, good for running in the nature. Very clean.Morning reconstruction works have been a bit disturbing during the breakfast, but it needs to be done, right? So I consider it just as a bad luck. Room could be a bit better heated.

We have to say a big thank you to Johanna, Helga and all the staff for a really wonderful winter wedding.We felt comfortable on the farm from the first second. Everything was shown to us during the preliminary discussion and everything was explained in detail. We both almost felt at home. Johanna was always available for us with all my questions and requests for changes.Helga also accepted all of my husband's special requests with a smile. The most important thing for him was his desire to eat. Roulade, vanilla pudding and cheesecake...of course it should all taste like mom's 😉. He didn't care about the restThey both had so many great ideas for our winter wedding. We were very lucky that everything in the yard had already been decorated with a lot of love for the run-up to Christmas. Everything looked beautifully romantic.At the reception there was homemade mulled wine and punch, tarte flambée, raclette bread (from a VERY lovely Vorarlberger 😊) and much more. I really couldn't have imagined anything better.Everyone is still raving about the food. There were roulades, salmon and vegetarian roulades. Even when 2 unannounced but dear friends came over, heaven and hell was moved so that they could stay, celebrate with us and, above all, eat with us. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS!I will also never forget the little “rescue” of your great employees! A big THANK YOU again to her too!Overall, it was the perfect day for us and one that everyone still remembers very fondly. I am still very happy that we found this place for our perfect day. Without you, we certainly wouldn't have such fond memories of it

The Scherau farm is located between ponds 1km from the village with a rustic ambience, old trees and a traditional breakfast with regional products, mostly from our own production. These are also offered in our own farm shop.The guest house, which is modern and partly rustic to Scandinavian, has a smaller conference room and a spacious kitchen for conference guests with a fireplace and espresso machine. Everything is absolutely new. The spacious rooms on the upper floor offer a large double bed in the bay window with an indescribable view of the horse meadows and ponds...facing south, so that you can be woken up by the sun and watch the sunset. The mattress is not too soft and very comfortable. There is no traffic noise. The only sounds come from the forest and meadow. There is a conscious focus on rest and relaxation. The rooms are therefore deliberately equipped without a television, although Wi-Fi is freely available.The bathroom is huge and new. Everything is ecologically considered and very high quality. There is also a large balcony. For your information, we stayed in room 1.Breakfast is offered in the courtyard kitchen opposite, where there is also another room. The kitchen was furnished in the same style as the conference kitchen. Very cozy. Fresh regional and mostly farm-made products are offered for breakfast: bread, milk, yoghurt and cream cheese as well as various sausages and cheeses as well as a selection of jams and honey. Of course there are also homemade muesli, fruit and another espresso machine. In front of the guest house there is a terrace and a small swimming pool.On the farm there is the bread oven and other buildings, including the sandstone barn with a beautiful ambience and the possibility of holding large conferences as well as larger celebrations and weddings here. In the center of the courtyard is the courtyard tree...dressed up appropriately in winter for Christmas time.The farm owner and her daughter take loving care of all guests, give you lots of tips for activities in the area and are happy to help and advise you, just like the rest of the farm team. All in all, this is a place to rest and relax as well as a place to celebrate in the most beautiful surroundings.If you're looking for excitement, a direct bus connection to Nuremberg's city center and a wild party, this isn't the right place for you.The place is the right place for small families and couples as well as solo travelers to go cycling, hiking or simply unwind.We wish all subsequent guests a lot of joy...we will certainly come back. A week here on site is not enough for us.
