Yes, it's older but clean and charming. The service was top notch. Despite the fact that the young lady was a little limited (injury to her arm), we were warmly welcomed and looked after very well at breakfast! The breakfast is great, fresh rolls, cereal, juice, fruit, everything you want! Room & bathroom clean, big enough. Bicycles can be parked safely. The location is super central! Price okay!

Quaint accommodation and not for everyone if you have certain requirements. However, if you know what you are getting into, the hotel is completely fine. Everything was clean and well maintained despite its age. The rooms are different - we lived in an outdated room (but we never felt uncomfortable), the rest of the family stayed in modernized rooms, which you wouldn't expect from the outside in this house. The location is of course unbeatable in the center. The breakfast buffet is simple and expandable, but acceptable.

Underground!!!It couldn't get any worse!!!Bad a disaster, impudence to even offer such a room. There is no relationship between price and performance. Rooms No. 1 and No. 5 and the bathrooms are in an unbearable condition. (Rusty radiators, toilet cistern is on the way, not screwed to the wall, unscrewed window handles and windows therefore cannot be opened. Totally worn and shabby room furnishings)Not recommended in any way!The house is in the center but that's the only plus point. The building is for sale, but that is no reason to rent rooms in such a condition.

So if the lady at the reception, who somehow does everything herself, hadn't been so nice and accommodating, the overall rating would have been worse. The hotel is ancient and has had its best years long behind it. Room furniture still feels like it's from the 80s, the shower crumbled and wobbled everywhere, the bed and mattresses were ok. The dining room (the former taproom) is somewhat iconic, the breakfast was simple but OK. Reception times very limited. Bicycle parking spaces are available in the inner courtyard, which are locked at night. Hotel is for sale for 1.6 million according to the notice in the menu box outside... in its current state the price for an overnight stay is clearly too high, unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't match.

Without words, more at the end of our stay. By the way, the hotel is offered for sale. In the picture "Bathroom AND toilet", the toilet lid is literally in your back!!!Inventory desolate, upper cabinet fell down when opened.Further factual report follows.

Very nice, attentive staff who immediately respond positively to requests and suggestions. Good selection at the breakfast buffet with bread rolls directly from the bakery next door. Even though it's an older house, that's what gives it its charm for me. We had a great stay despite the changeable weather.

I'm actually of two minds and don't really know what to write. The location in the middle of the city is of course great. It's clear that you have to expect a certain background noise and that's not a problem. The room was very clean. Apart from a few small things (loose shower head, for example), that was ok too. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom could have been a little bigger, but that was ok too.The breakfast was normal and completely sufficient. However, there is not much choice for those who eat differently.Perfectly ok for the price of the overnight stay. But unfortunately it's not enough for 5 stars.

We stayed there for two nights. The first night we got room number 11 at the 2nd floor. It was pouring with rain outside and there was thunder and lightening. Then it started pouring inside our room. …
